What do you like best about the product?
I had to find culprits of internal modules taking longer in processing time, and I found anomalies while using new-relic.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was unsure how much extra time the new relic was taking, and there was a little less documentation for problems I faced initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Distributed tracing was a great feature, that I used and it helped me a lot in getting the anamolies in the system.

What do you like best about the product?
New Relic is a must have infrastructure monitoring tool that offers an unparalleled level of detail for businesses. With New Relic, users can dive deep into their infrastructure and applications, gaining valuable insights and fine-grained control. The platform's free tier is remarkably generous, providing access to essential features without compromising on functionality. The graphical user interface (GUI) is clean and intuitive, although it can be slightly overwhelming due to the wealth of information presented (it took me a while to grasp it). However, once users familiarize themselves with the interface, they can harness its power to optimize performance and streamline operations effectively. I've used it to pinpoint performance issues in our PHP code, and not only New Relic helped me out on that, but it also told me that some remote service queries were taking longer than normal. All with fancy graphics and maps!
What do you dislike about the product?
From time to time, the notice that the free tier is about to end can be annoying. The graphical interface is so complete that it can be overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New Relic helps me to do source code profiling and to find SQL queries that could be optimized

What do you like best about the product?
Our company is small and I need to leverage as much automation as possible. For now, we need to know that we're not overpaying for resources that we aren't using. New Relic has provided me with regular reports about our busiest days and the level of resource consumption we have. This is valuable information. As our operation scales up, I look forward to using some of the other analysis features including query monitoring / inspectin.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point, there's nothing I dislike about it. If anything, it provides _too much_ information for what I need, and I wish I could tailor the reports to be more concise and focus on the issues that matter to me right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Measuring resource allocation with our PaaS so that we don't pay for resources that too far exceed what we actually need, as well as letting me know when we need to scale up further.

What do you like best about the product?
You can trace metrics, logs, and trace APIs across your stack. That does wonders while debugging an issue or monitoring the system's health.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing for logging and log retention can be comparatively higher than other companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fine-tuning APIs, indirectly it reduce spend on additional server to run more traffic.

What do you like best about the product?
We use NewRelic to monitor performance of many production websites. This tool allows us to quickly discover and implement optimization opportunities. We like NewRelic for its ability to monitor both backend and frontend areas of a website in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the BE performance trace presentation. It does not allow for easy navigation, i.e. it would be nice to show search results in a seprate window, along with corresponding timings. Also sometimes it shows "unattributed" time, which is confusing, would be nice to know what caused it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complex applications have many "moving" parts, and when someting stops working as fast as it should, we use NewRelic to access a website and pinpoint the issue root cause.
