The recommended AMI is unstable
It appears that the Tenable MarketPlace AMI is highly inconsistent and unstable. Each time we deploy a new EC2 instance using the Tenable AMI, It works briefly and then completely stops.
Hi Jubilee, Did you by chance expand the instance volume during deployment? By default the Root volume comes set to 8 gigabytes, which quickly becomes full after the OS, initial plugin update, and accumulation of log data following a couple of scans, leading to the scanner failing to perform new scans. The documentation states that the pre-authorized scanner's volume must be expanded to at least 30 gigabytes.
