Percona Server
What do you like best about the product?
It is more easier to use than the original Oracle MySQL server and it's components.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pretty much nothing. I am just using it for educational purposes, hence didn't found any problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pretty much most of the things. I am currently using to maintain my MongoDB collection for a project purpose.

It's performance, resilience, and security. I suggest people go for it

Until now I never find anything to dislike.

It automatically includes features such as native high availability, distributed transactions, a flexible data schema, and the familiarity of JSON documents.

What do you like best about the product?
Percona Server for MongoDB is an enhanced open source and highly scalable database that may act as a compatible drop-in replacement for MongoDB Community Edition with enterprise grade features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think one of the downside of using Persona Server for MongoDB is that it only supports Linux server operating system and also it doesn't support swift programming language.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Percona Server for MongoDB feautures are Hot Backups, Data at rest encryption, Audit Logging, Percona Memory Engine, External LDAP Authentication with SASL, HashiCorp Vault Integration and Enhanced query profiling
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I suggest that you should ask for help with the experts, join webinars to further expand your knowledge in Persona Server for MongoDB. There are many generic tools available, both commercial and open source, to aid with the automation of operational tasks. Some of these tools are even deployed in the database world. What do you like best about the product?
The offering of percona server including Native high availability, Developer-friendly language, high scalability, really good documentation. Further tools assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, backups.
A sense of faith as Percona's experts remain open to solving difficult requests.

the problem which my organization is trying to solve using percona server is the constant need for Native high availability
Why to choose Percona Server for MongoDB
What do you like best about the product?
I can use the MongoDB version without changing any driver. It also beneficial for me as it provide central authentication. It help me to manage my databases and make sure users who are using the database are only authenticated user. With auditing it helped me to audit my database as well
What do you dislike about the product?
Not more than seven nodes are supported.To provide an odd number of votes, only a node count of 1, 3 , 5 or 7 is supported by the service.

Have been using Percona Server now for 2 years.
What do you like best about the product?
Percona servers have a great uptime, performance, due to which the queries run faster than on any other servers. No need to tune the server as it already works up to the mark which saves alot of time and economy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The knowledge base for Percona servers are less.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly speed and latency issues.

If you need your queries to run fast I would suggest you got for Percona. ;)

Data-at-Rest Encryption and Percona Memory Engine are my favorite features.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the features and functionalities, I don't have any concerns. But, I believe they have a huge home work in promotion & marketing area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MongoDB version 3.2 introduced data at rest encryption for the WiredTiger storage engine towards ensuring that data files can be decrypted and read by parties with decryption key only. This is solved with their Data-at-Rest Encryption feature (introduced in version 3.6)

What do you like best about the product?
It provides you most of the mongoDB enterprise features free and open source to use and the migration is as easy as a snap

Haven't been able to find anything I'd dislike about it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud based mongoDB server with free and open source availablity with the features that you wouldn't get in mongo community edition and would need to get the enterprise edition which is paid
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As a freelancer, clients expect us to do projects at an affordable cost which is why getting free alternatives to services like mongo enterprise edition saves you a lot margin to work with and also extra features over the community edition. It has LDAP auth, auditing and log redaction, secure and easy to use and also easy to migrate if you are an existing mongo server user
