What do you like best about the product?
The product offering is extensive and maintains to be best in class with monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost model is more expensive and has removed features which were relevant with the AppMon product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We required more insights into our technology, with ability to track the core metrics of our application.

Superb monitoring tool with easy deployment

What do you like best about the product?
The way AppMon is able to tell me everything about app from top to bottom and ease of deploying one agents with 0 configuration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of self monitoring and alerting. The internal components can be down and ops needs to be alerted of this situation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have reduced the time to resolution for our issues and outages and provided insights into the relationship of various services.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace provides visibility into applications at ease and helps reduce time to action for problems both proactively and reactively.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of data collected by Dynatrace can be intimidating. However, the company has made great strides to provide a quicker analysis of data related to detected problems. This can be seen especially between AppMon and the new Dynatrace Saas/Managed platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Application performance degradation in general is our main focus with Dynatrace currently. This often results in identifying unoptimized database queries as well as slow response times from 3rd party external calls.

There is nothing in particular that I dislike. Dynatrace is on the right path with their product pipleline.

I like the end to end monitoring, UEM capabilities, and synthetic monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing costs are challengin to distribute across multiple business unitis in the company.

Availability and performance issues for Java and other apps.

Make sure to evaluate all of the tools that Dynatrace provides as they can replace several that you may have.

What do you like best about the product?
The visual effects of the dashboards and how issues are presented.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not always intuitive...makes adoption and learning a challenge. We are having challenges with achieving the level of adoption by the Ops Support users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility to where performance issues exist within the pure path...revealing issues Development team was not aware existed.

Highly recommended based on our experience.
