What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Qlik is that it can be as straightforward or as complex as you desire. The option to upload all your data sources and do point-and-click Data Manager or manually load and write custom scripts in the Data Load Editor allows analysts to start small and gradually increase their Qlik skills. Qlik offers similar services compared to their competitors, but where they go above is the simplicity of combining large datasets in either no-code, low-code, or complex code: depending on your skillset and familiarity with the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like the language used in Qlik, which is unique to that product only and sometimes hard to grasp. It is a NoSQL type thing that is easy once you pick up on it, but if it were all SQL all the time, I think that would be easier to get acclimated to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of combining two or more large datasets, automate them to whatever cadence of refresh I need, and visualize.

It offers an interactive analysis where searching can be done from the depths of data through global search and selections which respond quickly.
It is compatible with desktops, tablets, laptops, mobile phones which is very convenient since work can be continued from any device.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are limitations in the storytelling feature whereby languages like Japanese, Chinese, etc are not supported entirely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some products on the market have difficulties on integration with other software which is one issue I have been facing problems on but when using Qilk Sense integration is easy and reporting of the final data analysis is made even easier by features like report sharing in formats like PowerPoint from Microsft office pack.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a professional analytics tool worth a try.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy access to data and can be presented as per customer convenience. It is compatible with all devices like tablets, phones, desktops.It provides robust security features which are very flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes causes malfunctioning in IOS.more memory space is being used sometimes while Working with analytics. Faced problems regarding unauthorized access tdue o QS server malfunctioning
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Qlik Sense helps us replaced Microsoft Analysis services cubes and excel reporting as excel had a poor performance in reporting having missing and incompatible data.
Excellent tool for extract, transform and load and it is also good in visualization.

We can do any type of transformation using QlikSense and do generate snapshot as required.

What do you like best about the product?
Qliksense is excellent business analytical tool. Its so easy to use and creates preety visualisation, table views to analyse data and ability to create cusotmised formulas for data manipulations. Complex data analysis excerices can be done so easily using Qlikview

The space allocation on sheets and filter panes looks a little difficult to use.

I use Qliksense for visualising large amout of datasets in financial world.

What do you like best about the product?
Qlik allow us to align the entire company around strategic goals. We share the same vision of the truth. The great visuals help engage front line managers in operational analysis. We have both the performance overview and the detailed data for users to dive if they want. Advanced users can create their own reports, using the shared data model. Analysis suggested by Qlik are very usefull.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to connect Qlik and Google Sheets. In the future, Qlik must be able to get user feedback on data quality and data usage to be used by ML models.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single source of truth. Data access. Decision support.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for the SaaS offer. It works quite well, it has very interesting features (eg. bookmarks) and you are unburdened of the infrasctructure work.
Qlik takes some time to master, but the insights are worth it

Qlik makes it easy to import data from many sources and to report or visualize on that data in many ways.

Qlik is pushing their SaaS product very hard. For those of us that can't or won't make the switch, it feels like we are being left out in the cold, needing to pay for features that SaaS users get for free, or not having access to those features at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to be able to report on the data in our data warehouse without needing to get our development team involved every time we wanted to make a change or add a new visualization. Qlik makes this very easy.
Qlik also allows us to make updates to the data when we import - updates that we might not want to live in the warehouse. For example, we might want to display the name of something in a particular way that is different from the canonical name in the warehouse - Qlik makes that easy to achieve.
Unlike some other tools that we've looked at, Qlik also makes it easy to report on the absence of data. For example, if we want to report on the number of people who did not take some action, Qlik makes those insights easy to surface.
