User-Friendly with Comprehensive Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I find Acumatica user-friendly, which is a big plus for us. The reports and dashboards within the system are incredibly helpful, especially for daily analysis and gathering information in one area for month-end or year-end reporting. The setup was very easy, and I appreciate that I still work with the same account manager since 2018.
What do you dislike about the product?
Production doesn't flow as smoothly as I would like, but I think we need to learn more about what the system can do for us. Maybe there is an issue with an update and Acumatica is aware but we are not provided with the information that Acumatica is working on a solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica to solve production issues, especially after updates. The reports and dashboards help with daily analysis and gather info in one area for month-end/year-end reporting.
Flexible ERP with Great Customization, But Steep Learning Curve in ARM
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the ease of using data both within the Acumatica site and exporting to Excel for easy analysis, information distribution, and financial reporting. I also love the ability to dive deeper into the data directly in the reports to the entries behind the numbers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am less proficient in ARM than I am in Excel. Being able to translate and create reporting easily within Acumatica using intuitive operations or commands would be a game changer. I often do not know where to begin with the language or commands within the ARM report writer. Our implementation was difficult as our original VAR did not provide much guidance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica's flexibility allows customization for seamless business processing, communication, and reporting. It provides easy data use within the site and Excel exports for analysis and distribution. It helps me analyze performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions with up-to-date information.
Flexible ERP with Potential for Improved Scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the flexibility of Acumatica's system. It allows us to configure reports and pull the data necessary to analyze our results, which is really helpful in our operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scheduling module doesn't let you schedule by operation currently. We have BOMs with multiple operations, and the APS module requires it to be scheduled in continuity instead of being able to break it up as needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica to manage financials, inventory, and production scheduling. I can configure reports and analyze results with flexibility.
Flexible but Needs Faster Bug Resolution
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's flexibility and the company's commitment to introducing new features. It allows me to use creative problem-solving in my work to address company challenges, which is really valuable to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Acumatica can be slow to fix bugs, and it should take more responsibility for these bugs instead of requiring customers to prove extensively that they exist. The initial setup was very difficult, and we still have problems today because of a bad initial setup.

Acumatica helps solve integrations between systems and lets me use creative problem-solving in my work.

The are solving the problem of multiple sources of information. Acumatica will be the one truth and everyone will have the same numbers
Seamless Dispatch Planning, Improvements Needed in Service Order History
What do you like best about the product?
I like the dispatch planning feature in Acumatica. It helps our service technicians complete service orders more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Researching previous service orders for the history and what occurred at each appointment can be challenging. The initial setup was a little bit difficult because there's a lot of steps to each task, though understanding how to reduce those has made it easier.

I use Acumatica for service management and it helps our service technicians complete service orders.

I find Acumatica user-friendly and appreciate its easily customized reports which help us measure our performance effortlessly. The initial setup was easy, and I find it valuable across all our operations.

I find balance sheet reconciliation challenging.

Customizable but Challenging to Set Up
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's solid processes and the ability to customize. The processes are intuitive and easy to remember, even for those that are seldom used.
What do you dislike about the product?
The out of the box reports are subpar. I am willing to write my own, but I am not a developer and it can be difficult. Also, the initial setup was awful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for accounting in construction, including AP, AR, Payroll, Financial Reporting, and Project Accounting. It solves problems with Certified Payroll reporting and dashboards.
Effortless Data Access and Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Acumatica helps us maintain accurate data that's more accessible to more of our team members. GIs are easy to create, modify, and distribute, which is a huge plus. Our old system was very difficult to access and learn how to use; Acumatica is the exact opposite in almost every way. Also, the initial setup of Acumatica was fairly easy with the help of our VAR.

Acumatica helps us maintain accurate data that's more accessible to our team members. GIs are easy to create, modify, and distribute. Unlike our old system, Acumatica is easy to access and learn. This transition improved our data management and efficiency.
