Effortless Financial Management with Acumatica
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's ease of use and how everything connects with just a few clicks. It makes our accounts payable payments easy with a NACHA file, and I love that we can attach documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Easier use of creating generic inquiries

I use Acumatica for budgeting, purchase orders, and inventory. It makes our AP payments easy with a NACHA file, and I love attaching documents.
Seamless Setup, Great for Construction Accounting
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica for its ease of use, which makes construction project accounting and related tasks like AP entry, vendor payments, subcontract inquiries, and customer invoicing more manageable. I find the AP lookup feature particularly useful, and I appreciate the bills and adjustment inquiry that allows great visibility and filtering by vendor, project amounts, and more. The initial setup was pretty seamless, which was a relief. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with how it performs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the vendor retainage payments in Acumatica.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for construction project accounting. It solves problems like AP entry, vendor payments, subcontract inquiries, and customer invoicing. I appreciate its ease of use and great visibility and filtering in bills and adjustment inquiries.
Highly Customizable with Some Flaws
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica because of its versatility for customization. I appreciate that I can tweak it to our needs in real-time, which is incredibly helpful for our business. Additionally, I find the easier reporting tools very beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AP invoice PDF reader was a complete flop. It did not learn, it did not read well, and it pulled in line item detail that we didn't need.

Acumatica offers easier reporting tools and versatility for customization, allowing me to tweak it to our needs in real time.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Acumatica seamlessly handles multiple entities, making it easy to see all or just one company. I also like the flexibility to post to a branch, a company, or multiple companies. Running reports and creating dashboards is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know how difficult creating and using Generic Inquiries is, and I think non-programmer training would help.

I appreciate Acumatica for its ease of use in construction accounting. The approval workflow is particularly valuable, as it efficiently manages user approvals across multiple documents, enhancing the accuracy of our operations.

I'm waiting on the vendor portal and AP retainage in one bill.

I really like how easy it is to see all the project financials from one page. The AR and AP modules are easy to use.

The expense management for company credit cards is clunky. Also, the initial setup of Acumatica was not easy and felt pretty overwhelming.

I use Acumatica for all financials, project costing, and inventory management. I really like how easy it is to see all the project financials from one page, and the AR and AP modules are easy to use.
Streamlined Business Processes with Acumatica, Could Be More User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like how everything is in one place with Acumatica, from accounting to sales and inventory. It's great that when other teams use the system, it automatically takes care of some of my work. I appreciate the automations and simplicity of the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still new to Acumatica and some of the programming feels complicated to set up myself. I don't have a coding background and sometimes it feels like it requires that level of skills, like setting up GIs and business events. I wish business events and GIs were more user friendly to set up. I could automate a lot more of my work if I knew how to set these up simply. Also, I wish there had been an official training or some sort of resource I could utilize when first getting used to the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica helps with AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and payments, centralizing everything from accounting to sales and inventory. It automates work and simplifies processes, which I find beneficial.
Highly Customizable, Tracks Profits Accurately
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customizations in Acumatica. I'm able to make new buttons, create GI, and use OData for other reporting metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Acumatica doesn't provide more out-of-the-box items, like revenue recognition. I had to create my own import scenario to make revenue recognition work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for accurate serial number tracking, project profits, customization, new buttons creation, and using OData for reporting metrics.
Versatile ERP with Strong Financial Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I find Acumatica easy to use, and the ability to drill down into the data is very helpful. It also allows us to track all financial transactions and close the books at each month end.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are always looking for better visuals/dashboards to share with our leadership team.

Acumatica lets us track all financial transactions and close the books monthly. We switched from X3 for growth and sophisticated inventory tracking.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Acumatica's no-code low-code reporting, which makes data easily available and simplifies the process of building events.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are in need of an update, but working with our VAR to get to the newest version. They needed a better VAR from the initial setup. We changed VARs and are ready to take it to the next level.

I use Acumatica for data collection, reporting, and process improvements. The no-code low-code reporting makes data easily available and simplifies building events.
