Comprehensive Project Management, Setup Needs Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Acumatica has all the functions I need in one place for AR, AP, Payroll, and Projects. It really helps that when I receive invoices or book payroll costs, it maps straight to the job.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit hard to set up with all the features and so you have to contact support a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica helps me track project-based costs accurately, ensuring we know our margins by job. It consolidates AR/AP/Payroll/Projects functions in one place, mapping invoices and payroll costs directly to jobs, streamlining financial tracking.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica because it's easy to use and gives easy access to reports. I also appreciate being able to drill into additional information without having to go into separate modules. It's great to see real numbers and information needed.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Acumatica for my accounting job and find it especially helpful for easily finding information to back up financial data. I like the user-friendly interface, which makes it straightforward to navigate. The dashboards provide me with information easily, which helps me ensure that others are doing their job correctly.

I dislike the bank feed connecting.

Streamlined Processes with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica for its ability to replicate all our manual processes, automating some, and streamlining data sharing across departments. The reduction of duplicate data entry and the ability to report across sales teams and production teams adds value.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limitations to the system and currently a few too many clicks necessary to complete some of our daily processes. Initial setup and integration was painful and took 3x longer than scheduled, but a lot of the delays and issues were internal driven rather than system based.

Acumatica serves as the source of truth for core process data, providing real-time access for various departments. It reduces duplicate data entry and streamlines data sharing across departments, enhancing reporting between sales and production teams.
Seamless Integration with Superior Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Acumatica works great for AP/AR, project tracking, and expenses, providing good reporting. I specifically like the GIs and API integration, which I use regularly. Creating GIs using the DAC Schema Browser to export data into downstream systems is really helpful. Also, the API integration allows us to sync customer data across multiple systems in near real time, which is very convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more robust CRM capabilities with call center integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for accounting and expenses. It's great for AP/AR, project tracking, and expense reporting. I create GIs for data export and use API integration to sync customer data in real time.
Centralized Financial Operations, Challenging Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like the cloud platform of Acumatica. It provides the ability for our project managers and field staff to have one truth center for project-based data. It has brought all of our financial processes under one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a long process for integration. We are one year in and I feel like we are just getting to a point where I'm beginning to trust the data. It was much longer than we were initially told, but I feel like that had more to do with our onboarding partner than the software itself. Having an onboarding partner that understands your industry is paramount for success. It wasn't easy. It was extremely difficult and frustrating.

Highly Customizable and Flexible

Before Acumatica, our data was spread across multiple disconnected spreadsheets and legacy systems. Acumatica solved this by providing a single source of truth. The benefit is that our leadership now has real-time access to financial and operational dashboards, allowing us to make faster, data-driven decisions.
Streamlined Order Management with Acumatica
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of use of Acumatica and how it has replaced our Excel spreadsheets. It saves us time and makes us more efficient in our day-to-day work. We no longer have to fill in data for our team members to know our current status.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there are too many clicks to get things done and also a lot of unnecessary tabs that make things convoluted. The setup took quite a bit of the year to customize and set up, especially since we have a few subsidiary companies to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica reduces manual entry and Excel dependency, saving us time and making operations more efficient by providing quick access to data for team collaboration.
UI Excellence, But Financials Fall Short
What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's UI and functionality. It helps in consolidating information into usable data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The financials are not working correctly. Job costing is inaccurate, financials flows are not working correctly.

Acumatica only helps in consolidating information into usable data, though I'm still handling issues as it acts as our ERP.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Acumatica creates a single source of truth for my business operations, making our processes more efficient. Its inventory control is also something I appreciate because it manages inventory well, which is crucial for our B2B and B2C distribution of pond and lake supplies.

I don't like the non-stock kit allocation and complex shipping rules.
