Empowers Inventory Management with Cloud Access

What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica for its ability to help with organization and forecasting inventory in my healthcare setting. The blueprint feature is easy to focus on the figures, making it really useful. I also appreciate having access to the cloud from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the tutorials lacking. Also, the initial setup was slow, although that seemed intentional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for healthcare organization, primarily to improve forecasting inventory and accessing the cloud from anywhere. Acumatica's blueprint feature makes it easy to focus on the figures.

Enhances Project Tracking but Needs Improved Module Integration

What do you like best about the product?
I use Acumatica for project tracking in the construction industry. I like its integration with TrailD and some of the built-in reports. This setup saves us time in keying reports and allows us to customize approval workflows by GL and project in TrailD. Approvers can update incorrect coding or redirect invoices, saving accountants time and directing invoices to the correct location.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think PM module entries and GL entries need a better relationship so that you can find related transactions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica to compare projects against a budget, saving time with report keying and customizing approval workflows. It integrates well with TrailD, letting approvers manage and redirect invoices efficiently.

Intuitive UI, Streamlined Manufacturing Process

What do you like best about the product?
I love Acumatica's UI for its ease of use, and my favorite part of the product is the Generic Inquiries (GIs). The UI is intuitive, with everything conveniently available in the area and side panels. The GIs are extremely helpful for finding data quickly and allow us to surface data to our BI platform. Our VAR was also extremely helpful and amazing during the setup process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The CPQ product needs work. The initial setup wasn't easy, but our VAR was extremely helpful and amazing throughout the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica helps drive our entire order fulfillment process from quote to cash. The UI is intuitive, with everything easily accessible via the area and side panels. The GIs are extremely helpful for quickly finding data and surfacing it to our BI platform.

Centralized Financial Management with Seamless Integration

What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica because it provides a centralized source of truth for our finances and features a modern system that evolves. I also appreciate the ability to integrate it easily into our own systems. We can handle our internal processes based on customized rulesets and then feed that data into Acumatica for the accounting team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had issues with performance when it comes to API calls being made. It would be helpful if more documentation on API best practices was provided. Convincing our internal users to learn a new system was also a difficult part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica solves the problem of centralizing our financial data, providing a modern system that evolves. It integrates seamlessly into our internal systems, allowing us to manage membership and rodeo processes effectively.

Comprehensive Solution with Setup Challenges

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Acumatica is a one-stop-shop for everything from customer management to parts sales, labor tracking, and invoicing. We can create proposals using D-tools, which sync to Acumatica project quotes, then convert to a project where we use service orders and sales orders to track parts and labor. Our projects also have billing tasks built in and a dashboard that keeps track of it all.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the areas where Acumatica could be improved are the taxes and change order/change request processes. The change orders don't track estimated taxes, and in the revenue budget, items can either include tax or be non-taxable entirely, which complicates commission calculations. Also, I found the Microsoft Outlook and Teams plug-ins with Acumatica very difficult to execute thoroughly and successfully. I have not been able to get Outlook or Teams plug-ins to work at all. Additionally, the initial setup of Acumatica was very difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica to track installation labor and recognize revenue over time, manage sales and commissions, and understand opportunities lost. Its integration with d-tools helps create proposals, syncs with project quotes, and facilitates service orders, sales orders, and billing tasks.

Streamlines AP/AR with Ease and Project Management

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Acumatica has made it easy to handle both AP (Accounts Payable) and AR (Accounts Receivable), and I don't have to look at multiple screens individually anymore. I also appreciate being able to see all my projects on one screen, which is super helpful, along with the feature for setting up budgets. The initial setup was pretty easy, and I'd rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommending to a friend or colleague.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they paired with Aatrix to send out the 1099's and 1096's/Construction
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for AP/AR and project billings, and it stops me from looking at multiple screens individually. It's easy to handle AP and AR, and I like seeing all projects on one screen and setting up budgets.

Highly Customizable, Improves Data Visibility

What do you like best about the product?
I use Acumatica for all operations like manufacturing, inventory management, financial processing, CRM, and WMS. I love how Acumatica can be personalized to fit the industry I work in and even down to my specific role within the company. The increased visibility of data and the ability to highlight KPIs for all team members are great. It has also streamlined and automated many processes. As someone who oversees data and analytics, having access to real-time data to show different departments how their operations are running and to get ahead of issues is huge.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Shopify connector I always have issues with. It is not very flexible and often causes extra work for different team members to monitor failed sync records. I think there needs to be more allowance to edit the work flow of each entity. Specifically on the items, in my business we take pre orders for items before we even know if we can secure the seed (due to crop failure). The item status is very strict and does not work the same for the Shopify display and the Acumatica display.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I oversee operations like manufacturing and inventory with Acumatica, which increases data visibility, highlights KPIs, and automates processes for the team.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica because of its easy-to-use modules which follow the same methodology. As a new user, it's been easy to learn the basics such as creating a new journal entry or pulling account balances.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Generic Inquiries to pull data challenging. It's hard to know how to match and pull data if you don’t understand how tables or databases work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for data mining to see transaction details and posting to the general ledger. As a new user, it’s easy to learn the basics like creating journal entries or pulling account balances, thanks to the easy-to-use modules and consistent methodology.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Acumatica's ability to customize GIs, which really stands out to me. I also appreciate that no competing products I've seen have an easy-to-use actual screen builder where you can create your own screens.
What do you dislike about the product?
Forecasting for inventory doesn't work if you use inventory replenishment. This system limitation requires choosing one or the other, which is frustrating. The initial setup was not easy, leading to significant learning and support costs.
