What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about it is indexing; it helps to see the hot and cold storage and adequately index the things. It's easy to find and set up integrations for alerting.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not highly intuitive, so UI tends to get confusing. When it comes down to the onboarding, it may take a while for a new person to get used to how to navigate the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Searching through the details and events that are being logged in. We also set up an automated detection in place based on specific events and set up additional integrations to have a proper DART plan.

ELK dashboard it's like dragging a drop.
Once you have defined your query and fields, you can choose the one you want from a defined widget list and.. you will have a working widget.

Cost.
It's costly to have ELK cluster, even for the most minor needs.
Maintenance:
We always need to take care of the number of shards, do maintenance and increase the cluster even if we have free space.
I took time for us, more than usual EC2 maintenance.

We need a mechanism for elastic search over millions of documents and a dashboard above this.
We used ELK and Kibana for that.

What do you like best about the product?
People coming from Google Search Experience will be easily able to relate easy of use what you wull get from the Swiftype implementation. Drop in Javascript on your website & additional markup elements within content of your website will enable you great search & features like auto complete etc., for which you don't need to code.

Pricing & Licensing had jump since it's been acquired by Elastic Search.

Providing full site search with Free Text search on the website is made easy by Swiftype.
You don't need to write custom code to enable tracking, able to view the analytics of the search being done on the website & get insights into what your customers are looking onto your website.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Swiftype is a good product, but it is in EOL by 2023 as it is acquired by Elastic Search, so if you wish to continue work with Elastic Search, then it is an excellent product. Otherwise, there are alternatives like Algolia etc.,
Searching Became Efficient With Elastic Search
What do you like best about the product?
As I have already had the title as Searching made easy with Elastic search. The important part of it is that it stores the data in a file and thus makes the search more efficient and faster. We can search the table columns, we can also search for the specific text present in the document in a very faster way. but it would have become difficult in the case of relational DB's.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I do not like is that it takes more time to sync the records. Suppose if I wanted to process say 10k records then it takes more time to sync the docs. Thus it shows some kind of inconsistency between data, but after sometime when we refresh, it shows the correct data.

Elastic search is Java backed search engine with fast and efficient processing.

Multi-language support does not exists for handing request and response data.

Enterprise search requirement to search over large repositories with contents and assets which frequently changes and need to be indexed realtime.

Highly recommend it to used for developing enterprise search application with an exception of multi-language support

It offers the tools you need to create a better search experience, it also has a fairly stable performance, the analysis of geographic information is quite complete, it also provides a variety of tools necessary to create a very good search experience, it also offers a great simplicity of implementation, also provides good product documentation, the administration portal is very easy to use, also provides full control over exactly what search results should appear in queries, it is a simple way to integrate into various systems.

The experience has been very positive, I do not have any negative comments towards Swiftype, I hope it continues to improve every day even more, as it has done throughout all this time.

It is a good tool for our content that helps people find the most relevant content easily, the ability to implement search on our site has been amazing, it also gives us a safe search, it also helps us facilitate a fluid search for customers , offers the most modern and powerful search solution, I also use it to perform fast and secure searches, it is a very versatile search solution.

It is a very good performance search platform, it has been very helpful in many aspects, it offers good tools so that you can implement it in the best way, I recommend that you use Swiftype.

What do you like best about the product?
Considering that, although Swiftype is not a software with the quality of large companies like Google, it has a fairly stable performance and what I like most about Swiftype is that is very simple, you don't gotta have much programming knowledge. It is designed for any company or person who wants to improve their search system on their website, making it fast and intuitive with professional configuration tools but which in turn are easy to use. It also has its suite for expert developers who can customize their search functions and control their API platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Swiftype is a good tool for what it does, but the lack of many functions that other companies such as Google have at reasonable prices makes it stay in a bad position.The prices between the 3 pricing plans are a bit exaggerated, so you should choose wisely and analyze the needs in the medium and long term. Also, some plugins sometimes fail to integrate with Wordpress and other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It does what it is supposed to do, since it provides predictable search results with the ability to modify the classification of search results, this solves many problems, especially for those who browse your website and are looking for something in specific. The best benefit that I have noticed when using this software is that it is possible to configure the search engine of your site in a very simple way, I do not need great programming knowledge.

The software is highly recommended since it provides you premium tools to create a good search system for your website, even if it is somewhat expensive. Maybe there are better options on the market in terms of prices, but in functionality Swiftype is very good.

What do you like best about the product?
Customer have the possibility to just enter one letter and the engine checks the search requests and interests of the visitor and knows directly what to show. The automatically keyword reader shows the available postings also from the whole topic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard gives us a datasheet of the whole period but the real-time data it’s not correct - we tried it and we see data with delay or just no results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving visitors on the website the perfect search engine - whole database will be checked by projects. The mobile application is responsive and works as it should.

I think that you should analyze the user and customer search requests and also the results that shows the system - so you can control and analyze the results.
Powering our search tasks to the fullest
What do you like best about the product?
Using Swiftype does not require any high-level knowledge in set up programming, thanks to this novice users will be able to get acquainted with the software without any problems and take advantage of its useful functions. A powerful and extendable API is available, it allows developers to build applications and micro services integrating all Swiftype functions. Data indexing is extraordinary in addition of being one of the fastest I've tried in a long time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a problem regarding the number of pages indexed for the plan we chose, due to the heavy load of documents that the crawler indexed the number of pages exceeded the quota of our plan, I do not know as a step this as we made sure to choose a plan that would fit the number of documents that we were going to use, we contacted the support and it turned out to be a configuration problem in their back end, once this was all done everything go smoothly.

Previously our department was running behind in getting a proper configuration that was stable without false positives but no matter what we were doing we could not find a proper solution, with this software we were able to configure the crawler in the specific way that we wanted, lowering to the maximum the number of false positives that might arise and until now we have not had such problems again.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When searching for a SaaS search engines it is necessary to evaluate a series of parameters that will make you choose the best option with a completely objective approach, among these parameters are Results, Set up, Analytics, Pricing, Support. In all these you will find this software among the best option that stands from the others in the market, out of the box engine set up, automatic crawler, real time analytics data and a number of advantages that Swiftype brings with it that will make it very difficult to decide for other software.
