The solution's integration and configuration are not easy. Not many people know exactly what to do.

I have been working with the product for five years.
How was the initial setup?
The product's deployment took a couple of days to complete.
What about the implementation team?
The product's deployment was done in-house by myself.
What other advice do I have?
I would rate the product a nine out of ten.

An open-source product that helped us to monitor website request and responses
What is our primary use case?
We use the solution to monitor our website and APIs request and response cycle, also for log aggregation. We also used it for APM and searching for slow and database queries.
How has it helped my organization?
It helped a lot in identifying bottlenecks and events happening simultaneously among several services, since we can aggregate the logs into a single repository of data
What is most valuable?
I am impressed with the product's Logstash. The tool is fast and customizable. You can build beautiful dashboards Kibana using Logstash as data source. It is useful and reliable.
What needs improvement?
It was not possible to use authentication three years back. You needed to buy the product's services for authentication.

I have been working with the product for three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The tool itself is stable but depends on your infrastructure. If you have slow disks, the searches tend to take more time. If you need more data retention, be sure to keep an eye on disk space. Otherwise, the service crashes easily.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The tool's scalability is tied to your infrastructure. You need to have the money and resources to scale your infrastructure. To scale up, you need faster disks and more servers. My company had 15 users using the product for a small API, and the cost was not so high.
How are customer service and support?
The product's tech support is very helpful and skilled.

The product's setup is difficult, since you need at least 5 servers in a distributed topology to achieve its full potential: 3 machines for elasticsearch, 1 for logstash and another for kibana

"The tool is an open-source product, but you have to self-host it and you need specialized personnel to maintain it.
What other advice do I have?
If you are self hosting the solution, you need to take care of indexes and understand cluster sharding and distributed systems' election system

Narrowing the specifics of the search is valuable and helpful, handling huge data size, powerful advanced search options

The global search option is not available, Multi-language support is not available

Very helpful in working with POC, where we do not need to have a very complicated search tool. More agile and communicative with the proposed system
My Enterprise elastic search review
What do you like best about the product?
Elastic Enterprise Search is a versatile full text search engine supporting multiple full text search options and good spring boot repository supports for easy integration with java spring applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Elastic Enterprise Search is a daemon. It has a very steep learning curve with a lot of new concepts and architecture. Novice needs a good amount of time to learn this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our organization, we use AWS Managed Service OpenSearch backed with Elastic Search engine to do a full text search on documents to connect different systems to benefit from the elastic search full text search capability.
It's extremely simple to carry out, excelent software
What do you like best about the product?
Their help is amicable and accommodating. Whenever I had an inquiry or couldn't figure something old, they rushed to take care of me.
It's not difficult to arrange. The online UI makes it very easy to arrange

It can require a significant stretch of time to file a huge site with countless pages.
It is basically impossible to mass erase pages from the record through the web administrator UI.
There is definitely not a decent module for utilizing Swiftype with Drupal 8 Pursuit Programming interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our city site expected to relocate off of unsupported Google search answers for a more present day and strong pursuit arrangement. We wanted a webpage search arrangement that could record our site and convey quick, pertinent list items to our clients.
A Great for Auditing Logs
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to view logs while troubleshooting issues in production is its one of the great feature. ELK makes it very easy to find and filter out specific answers and focus on specific logs. In addition, indexing helps you properly catalog your items and identify hot and cold stocks. Kibana is also useful for creating dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is a little bit confusing. Onboarding can take time for new users to get used to using the platform. Also, it is costly to have an ELK cluster, even for small needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has brought together all the important information about the end users of the product and created dashboards for analytics to help improve the user experience. Key insights into production, supply chain management, and sales are also beneficial.

Elastic Enterprise Search has some limitations that some organizations may find inconvenient. For example, it can be costly compared to other search solutions available. Additionally, it has challenges when configuring and customizing the search engine to meet our organization's needs.

With the increasing amount of data our organization generates, it can be challenging for users to find the information they need quickly and easily. This lead to a loss of productivity, frustration, and errors. Elastic Enterprise Search addresses this problem by providing a unified search experience across various data sources, including structured and unstructured data. This enables users to quickly find the information they need, regardless of where it is stored.
In addition, Elastic Enterprise Search provides a range of customization options that enable our organization to tailor the search experience to our specific needs.

Elastic search is easy to use as it helps in simplifieng search for a complex database. Configuration provided is much flexible for indexing and searching criteria.

Multi language support is not available for handling request and response. There is a scope of improvement when dealing with huge data with elastic search.

Elastic search is light weight and easy to setup so it was very helpful in working with poc where we do not need to have very complicated searching tool.
