What do you like best about the product?
User friendly! I love how easy and intuitive the platform is for business users. I love the drag and drop user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more ways to zoom in to the configuration pane.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ETL, automation, big data problems.
Wonderful Tool for Analyzing Data
What do you like best about the product?
Using Alteryx has helped myself and others in my department analyze data and get desired results much efficiently.

Using Alteryx has been a great experience. I have not seen a downside so far.

Alteryx is helping get data analyzed quickly to deliver reaults needed.

We have been able to leverage alteryx to save our back office teams a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish there was a way to have to have the output not be hardcoded, have a way to drill through the data so someone who doesn't know alteryx can review the output.

Easy to learn and use. Extremely powerful workflow automation and data analytics

Helps cut out the processing time from excel and gives my team time back to focus on higher risks and the bigger picture.

Lots of great baseline tools, but also need to upgrade to get access to more tools.

Complicated calculations cutting preparation time to a fraction of what it previously took.
Company and Career Transforming
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx lets me quickly trim down non-value-added tasks and focus on tasks that matter. It opens up a whole new way to transform a team, department, or company - and it's transformed my career as a result.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Alteryx is not as well known as free or cheaper products such as PowerQuery or PowerBI, I've faced an unwillingness to expand within our company. Hopefully it's something that improves the longer Alteryx is around, but for now it does pose some frustrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company had many old outdated ERPs that all have different data that needs to be transformed and combined for tax reporting. With Alteryx, what was a two-day process now takes 20 minutes--and the only reason it takes that long is because we've been able use Alteryx to add additional checks and steps to research issues as we process, issues we didn't have time to address before. We recently acquired another company, and without Alteryx, we simply wouldn't have been able to stand up certain tax functions in time.
Powerful tool for solving data problems
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx allows me to solve for a wide range of use cases in data processing and analysis tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve, but it's well worth the time to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Alteryx to process thousands of Excel and CSV files provided by internal and external parties, perform error checking, apply business logic, and load clean data into database tables.
Automation, Time Saving, and Risk Reduction
What do you like best about the product?
Versatility in automating. Dynamic long-lasting workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost prohibitive for users that are unlikely to become super users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manual work has been reduced and/or eliminated in multiple instances. I eliminated a prior role that I was in by automating most of the reporting that was done in that position.
Alteryx is making great strides towards user experience
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx is really dedicating time, effort, and care into their user experience. I am very impressed by the strides they're taking, and the amount they listen to the user base.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is a bit overpriced, if I'm being transparent. I'd love to see the tool be more accessible to your every-day user and not just corporations who can super-afford it.

Alteryx really helps take our data and organize it.
