ETL For Masses
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx is simple enough with its drag-and-drop interface to be picked up quickly. But it is sophisticated enough
to keep me challenged as I learn new Skills. It can use Python and create macros using existing tools that allow for great flexibility.

What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally some bugs need working out. But the release notes keep you updated on what is what, and they are receptive to reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Alteryx to Prep data for tableau and to create reports. This is instrumental to our reporting on financial information and to respond to standard industry audits

What do you like best about the product?
As a Data consultantcy firm, Alteryx is at the heart of the business. It's one of the softwares we specialise in. The product addresses a multitude of business problems. The flexibility, creativity, and low-barrier to entry really help the technical staff have conversations with non-technical staff without "losing" them in the detail. The workflows you can produce are visual, logical to follow, and allow you to step through the entire process. The visual workflows are an amazing feature in terms of debugging, helpfulness when sharing the workflow, and the readability of your work.

What do you dislike about the product?
The search functionality in Alteryx community isn't particularly great. I know the information is on the community that I want to find, but often it's buried somewhere. If I go onto Google, and search: Alteryx community ________ ; my problem comes up as the top search! I wish the community search engine behaved more like Google's!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of tasks.
Personal use: I've built a workflow to automate the whole process on how I work out my finance income/expenditure calculation breakdowns each month, i.e. I download my bank statement into a folder, and I click run in Alteryx. It goes and reads that PDF, extracts all relevant information, transforms it into a useful format for analysis, and then appends that to a log that contains all my previous months transactions. This log lives in a shared location aswell! I've got charts connected to this what showcase income/expenditure and we can drill into the parts that drive both of those.
I can connect to anything, I can pull any number of data sources together, I can transform them, and then push them out either as files, or I can push them directly up other softwares like PowerBI. All of this is built once, and thus makes the process automated for every other time you need to do it!

Best thing about Alteryx is the way it load and transform data as well it also worked on its scalability.

Some what Alteryx should work on there UI part as well connectivity with other ETL tools .

Alteryx is solving my data visualization, dashboarding part . Also it help me to do data analysis with millions of row .

What do you like best about the product?
Its state-of-the-art drag-and-drop functionality. Alteryx takes input from the users on all the functionality they require and implements them in no time in their releases. Takes priority in resolving the bugs in the latest releases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too much price for the server edition. If we have a firewalled DB and needs an Alteryx designer in the cloud machine, Alteryx charges twice for the server edition
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a team of freshers who were able to quickly ramp up to the Alteryx tool. We built a scalable and optimized data warehouse for one of the fortune 500 companies. The pipelines/workflows are easy to document and maintain.

What do you like best about the product?
There is no limitation to the amount of data it can handle. The ability to join different tables makes it by far superior to excel and google sheets. Its a must have tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be improved abit and that there is still no version for MacOS

Being able to manipulate data without having to write code. It combines excel and SQL and makes it very simple to do multiple operations with just a click of a button

Alteryx helps others by leveraging on their company's data to generate data-driven insights. It is easy to use and has advance capabilties in terms of technology

Pricing tier is not clear in their website

Analysing data. Alteryx made me become more open to think on how to tackle my data issues.

The best part of Alteryx is the possibility of integrating different data sources, which is very comfortable and user friendly for the users with not much technichal background! The datasource blending tool is also a goot feature, particularly after using Google Data Studio is's very intuitive!

Do not have any comments coz the experience is not huge using this tool.

I used Alteryx for cleanings of the raw data and joining (blend) with other datasets.It's much faster than doing the process manual, and is more accurate sometimes!

What do you like best about the product?
That it can automate your day-to-day processess with excellent results.

Getting into world of alteryx is quite challenging for the begginer.

Preparing the data, joinung and unioning different data streams for one user-friendly file.
