Excellent tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and clarity of logic, great tools
What do you dislike about the product?
The amp engine is unpredictable resulting in different results when using it ot not using it for the same workflow

Alteryx Is A Transformative Journey For Me!
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx has enabled me to turn weeks-long manual processes to rapid self-service solutions. I can discover hidden insights in disparate data through transformation and integration
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is potentially the barriers to entry. It is hard for people to understand the amazing capabilities of the platform unless they experience what it can do.

Analyzing new markets, monitoring company success, monitoring customer engagement and satisfaction,
User friendly ETL tool for all experience levels

Can retrieve data from multiple sources and types
What do you dislike about the product?
The SQL interface for input data sources is clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Completing data evaluation for use in visualization tools from individual contributor to senior leadership
Amazing (but expensive) product
What do you like best about the product?
very powerful and scalable software. Can handle basically any data related task.
What do you dislike about the product?
licenses are very expensive and separated for different products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx is super good at pulling data from multiple sources and doing any sort of preparation or cleansing needed before pushing it out to a data warehouse or reporting on it.
Alteryx Designer for self-service
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx is a great tool for self-service. Our team members have really benefitted from being able to use the tool

Some pof the pricing has been a bit high.

Primarily data cleansing and processing.
Love the tool and product, make my job so better!!

Making the ability to solve and make processes faster, so that we can make things more efficent

I can connect data from any data source to as many as I need to process and output in whatever way I need

A couple of things that annoy me like having to jump through hoops to stop the workflow

What do you like best about the product?
The easy to use interface, tons of examples on how to use each tool, excellent support, ability to start building your workflows immediately, and online community. I started using Alteryx by searching online for a solution to my issue and found the answer right away. Turns out it was an intermediate level and as a beginner I was able to solve for it!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that some of the new machine learning features are going to cloud. I would like to see those who are using the AIS to get those features on desktop too!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx allows us to create analytic apps for business users to save them time and effort to conquer their main tasks. We use Alteryx for ETL, connecting with Tableau, to deep dive into large datasets easily, and do advanced calculations on our data with ease.

I like how easy it is to link up external systems to alteryx and create workflows that are able to perform a variety of data manipulation steps .

I think that the visualization components could be enhanced in alteryx
