Powerful automation software
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx has a lot of features that I love, some of them are
• It has a lot of operations and connectors that are usefull to recreate Excel like operations in an automated way
•The workflows help me to automate my recurring tasks at work in one single go
•It handles large data sets like a pro.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI/UX. Is not that user friendly, there is surely scope to make that better, there are lots of features here and there which are not communicated well by the design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me it solves two major issues, it helps me to automate my Excel based tasks and secondly helps me to deal with larger data sets that normal Excel files can't handle.

Alteryx helps me do my life's best work.
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx enables us to create a repeatable, scalable data and analytics recipe that we can share. We use Alteryx daily to combine disparate data from 3rd party APIs, in house databases (such as SQL Server, Teradata, Hive and Snowflake) and other files. Alteryx makes it easy to connect all the dots so we can build reliable data assets. Healthcare is a team sport and Alteryx also enables us to work together - no more digging through chapters of code trying to figure out what someone else did - the annotate ability for each tool makes documentation of complex business rules a breeze - so we can pick up quickly where someone else left off. Alteryx Gallery pulls it all together for us and enables us to schedule our workflows and "set and forget". The ability to configure built in error messages to alert us to when things go sideways means we can get ahead of issues before they flow downstream and cause production issues for our customers. Alteryx makes it easy for us to work with our business partners and rapidly explore data collaboratively and implement new solutions. In addition, Alteryx has an incredible supportive community - when we are stuck we can google, reach out to the Alteryx User Group, or contact our customer success manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not everyone has Alteryx Designer desktop due to the expense of the license. When you save a workflow back to the Gallery there is a specific sequence to follow or you could end up with versioning issues. There's so much to love and very little to dislike. I would not want to do my job without Alteryx for myself and my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ingesting disparate data, cleansing & transforming data to prep for Tableau. Automating data workflows. Alteryx significantly reduces time needed for data wrangling and also increases quality due to data visibility throughout the transformation & creating a repeatable process.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Alteryx both as one-time analysis and for recurring operations tasks.
In both cases, we were able to manipulate large datasets and execute complex data manipulation very easily.
I used Alteryx to build an in-house production and inventory planning tool, that allowed us to scale the operations 1500% in 3 years.

What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx gives data power unlike before. Using this tool helps you unlock insights quickly to determine the best route for what you are going to do with these insights!

I honestly believe there are no downsides, Alteryx makes sure that they stay up to date.

What do you like best about the product?
The feature that proves most valuable to our team is its capability to seamlessly aggregate data from diverse sources. Whether we`re dealing with Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server or handling large datasets, Alteryx simplifies and accelerates the data generation process. In instances where SQL assistant experiences lag or isnt performing optimally for dataset creation, I can transition to Alteryx easily which consistently delivers excellent results.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are two plan options one of which is cloud based and the other for desktop usage and the prices are a little bit high for both plans. The cost per seat is a little bit off putting to be honest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx makes data preperation, analytics and automation easier, ensuring that individuals with varying levels of coding or programming experience can harness these skills. The automation capabilities of Alteryx have significantly reduced our report turnaround times making data preperation more efficient.
Powerful mathematical modelling toolset for business analysis
What do you like best about the product?
It is fast and contains a wide variety of tools and features that extend from data wrangling to computation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI requires heavy guidance and/or training. The inuitive use is very limited. Gladly the community and support helps out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I completed a 6 months Business Analysis digital certification program sponsored by the company that I worked for (Turkcell) and provided via Udacity implemented. Some of the concepts I learned during the course were familiar to me (eg statistical regression) while some were newer like decision tree models. Using Alteryx and solving business problems such as pricing, resource availability etc was exciting and inspiring.

The user friendly interface provides exceptional calculation options surpassing any I have tested in cloud. Also there is a robust community support which is amazing Alteryx is a very good tool would recommend to all.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to criticize about Alteryx however individuals at a basic level of software knowledge can find it difficult to utilize it effectively due to complications in syntax.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to aggregate data from different sources into one data set while giving a lot of features to customize and sort your data makes our job a lot easier.
Large volumes of data easily managed with Alteryx
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is user friendly with impressive search capabilities that make thenlearning curve smoother. Alteryx really stands out in this aspect compared to other tools. I love how seamless its integration with tools like Excel. Alteryx significantly cuts down on processing time as configuring tools is often simpler than dealing with lenghty and complex Excel formulas. Overall Alteryx is a great tool that is easy to learn and I would definitely recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Filter and sort options are a little annoying. The SQL writing environment can use a little bit of improvement and you might face latency issues from time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx helped me automate repetitive tasks and made data preperation extremely quick and easy. I have cut down on hours and hours thanks to Alteryx a full days work is now a few hours of work.

Pricing is too high they have to work on the pricing model and also for getting support also it is difficult if they work these improvements it is the best tool.

we use it for data mining which helps us with continuous improvement of business trends, we can plan for automation where we required less resource it saves lot of budget.

What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx is a cloud solution that we value very much in our company, it is essential for us to have a powerful financial tool and this software is a guarantee in all these aspects, I want to first highlight its easy-to-use interface, the cloud design has three important and easy to configure elements, the data flow for marketing can be combined with spreadsheets to categorize the data of our customers, and it is possible to create promotions, The creation of tables and its easy layouts allow any user to perform well within the service, in fact you can obtain resulting data, enter input data, apply data cleansing, apply data cleansing, organize by rows and columns, this program has it all, in fact you can put together a set of samples and evaluate the statistics. Data transformation is another positive point to highlight, you can transpose, summarize and fix any data, in fact, they check everything from invalid data types to ID columns, it is also possible to design machine learning models, there are many reasons to highlight the use of this program.
What do you dislike about the product?
Importing files to the Alteryx Analytics Cloud can be slow if you don't have a good connection to the operating system you are using. Many times when I run a plan I like to send a message integrating the service with Slack, however, many times the message takes a long time to be reflected. It is not the best solution for data prediction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a financial advisory company so Alteryx is perfectly suited to our needs because we handle a large flow of data from external and internal customers, thanks to this software all this data can be evaluated, transformed and uploaded to the cloud for later understanding in real time. We have been able to improve our commercial management thanks to this product, since we have achieved more accurate financial analysis using the tools the software provides us with. Furthermore, we have also been able to perform predictive business modeling in the financial and banking area, and without a doubt it has also provided an optimal service to our human resources department.
