What do you like best?
I'm monitoring many applications such as Ping tracking, Database query tracking, URL tracking without agency
What do you dislike?
MF SiteScope doesn't have any missing features

great application, easy to use and hassle-free

What do you like best?
i really like that it has out of the box monitors for win and linux and also app related monitors like websphere, etc..
What do you dislike?
i dont like that its heavy weighted and got bugs that takes the dev team alot of time to fix
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
monitoring non-prod/prod systems and the main benefit is that sis is a one stop for all monitorimg you need for all infra and apps level

What do you like best?
Many templates with monitors out of the box. Also in the monitors you can implement many technologies are including.
What do you dislike?
The software needs to be restarted frequently.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Integration issues with other software. It can be perfectly integrated with BSM or OMI in order to receive events or alerts in a console.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best to implement alongside with OMi solution.

Agentless, template based distribution of OS monitoring
What do you dislike?
Product of integration with OMi is significantly flawed, high volume of functional defects that makes monitoring of simple systems extremely difficult if not impossible

What do you like best?
Agentless, you can set up monitoring of your servers directly from console, without deploying agents on servers itself
What do you dislike?
Java based, not bery stable solution, hangs periodically

What do you like best?
SiteScope does not need deployment of agents on monitored servers, has good tool for Windows and Kinux monitoring

It is based on Java, mor than, it is some custom buld of Java and you are not able to open WebIU from anywhere
