Great program and super support

  • April 12, 2022
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The program is easy to use. The best part is the service!! If I have any issues, I open a ticket and someone responds within 30 minutes. Unheard of for support! They're very thorough and make sure the problem's resolved.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good if we could have one volume license that covered several servers instead of individual purchases/licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is our primary backup solution. It's fairly easy to setup, then just sit back and watch it work. It's great knowing our data is encrypted in the cloud so we're more in compliance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great cloud backup product. If you're afraid of poor customer service should anything happen, Cloudberry support is the best!!

Cloudberry - A Software for Seamless Data Transfer and Backup

  • March 24, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Cloudberry is the fact that files of all formats can be transferred seamlessly from Local System to a backup like Amazon S3. I transfer file(s) with a single click from my Local system to S3 account, and the data upload/download speed is also great! The fact that it supports 40+ cloud platforms is also a great thing considering that the cloud vendors are likely to differ from company to company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Cloudberry is that there are certain times when the files are not uploaded due to certain reasons, and the logs displayed are not downloadable. In case I am transferring a large folder (of a few GB) that contains thousands of files. it becomes difficult to identify which files were transferred and which were not in case an issue occurs. Manually going through the log and saving it is a hassle, hence an option to directly download the logs would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being from the Product team at ZS, I need to test the applications developed both on Amazon EC2's instance and also on Local system. To test on Amazon EC2, the files first need to be available in S3 location, where Cloudberry helps a lot. I can transfer all types of files, from CSV, Excel, Word, PPT, ZIP and everything else with no bound on the size of the data to transfer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Cloudberry is a great software to save your files on Cloud storage platforms and is definitely recommended for use. It allows all file formats for saving and no data upload size restrictions with incredible upload/download speed. It also has connections to 40+ cloud storage platforms including Amazon S3, Hitachi, Cisco, Verizon, and many more.

Makes using S3 very easy for non technical users and the pro version is much faster in uploading files, even with a modest internet connection. Excellent!!

It doesn't get more reliable than this!

  • May 18, 2019

I have been retired from IT support for 5 years, and this year I saved one of my old clients! They were hit by ransomware and their new technician's backups were encrypted as well. The client called me in desperation and asked if I could help out.

Amazingly, my old Cloudberry backups were STILL RUNNING in a forgotten corner after being completely ignored for five years! I never did figure out how to do a restore from Cloudberry Backup, but I was able to access their files on Amazon S3 via Cloudberry Explorer and save the day.

The client knew that I had pulled his fat out of the fire, but the new tech took me out for a very expensive dinner because I never told them exactly how close they came to losing 30 years of legal documents. Now HIS backups are running on Cloudberry, too.

My clients were all very small businesses. They don't have immense resources to buy expensive infrastructure. There is a reason I put them all on Cloudberry. It doesn't break the bank, and it just works.
