Good way to get started with dAPP development
I setup Strato while experimenting with various ethereum integration tools. I am a python engineer by trade, but I'm new to the blockchain world. Strato is a pretty neat tool, as it allows you to link up ethereum-based APIs to any existing project. I think the primary benefit of this is that its a higher-level abstraction of ethereum, so the learning curve is a bit lower. I'm still playing around, but this has been a nice tool for getting the hang of the capabilities of ethereum.

Takes the load off solidity development
This neat little tool has really helped me learn the ropes of solidity without getting too deep into the weeds of truffle. Essentially, this tool allows you to store handy API endpoints from your virtual blockchain for easy integration with any normal web app. In contrast, truffle requires you to design these API calls from scratch, and the learning curve is fairly high for a novice like myself. Still getting the hang of this blockchain thing, but Blockapps is a step in the right direction.
Doesn't launch instance
I have walked through 4 different launch methods: 1-Click, Manual. Also choosing a couple different instance Type (medium and large variations).
Nothings seems to work and the instance is never created. Luckily this is a 5-day free trial.
