Simple to use- good for small/medium sized business

This tool is great for a small/medium sized business. It contains much of what you'd expect from a more advanced tool (block level backups, AES 256 encryption, compression, etc), but it presents these features in a very user friendly way. It takes a multithreaded approach to increase performance.

It also has a plethora of different places to store the data, i've never even heard of most of them, there are so many (local disk is of course one of them for local backups). They also seem to keep up with the latest trends (Glacier is already supported).

The only thing to keep in mind is that they chose to use a sqlite database to store their metadata. While this allows them to keep their install simple- I have had conflicts with our server's antivirus software, and it doesn't seem quite as scalable as if they had used something like ms sql, mysql, etc. I don't think it was a bad decision, just something to keep in mind, and something to test.

Great Backup software

I'm using this product on a 2008R2 box I have sitting at home for testing purposes (school related stuff).

It has very nice features such as a scheduler for bandwidth usage & also already implements Amazon Glacier.
It can also give you an estimate of the monthly costs of your backup, which in some cases can be pretty useful (you can also configure a price limit, if the backup is too expensive, it wont start)

This is a complete backup software, but it is still very simple to use.
Support is great too, they answer all questions quickly & precisely.

Great Utility

No sweat, no tears, definitely no blood. Other cloud-backup solutions had failed miserably time and again, to push several hundred gigs worth of Server and shared-drive backups to S3, over a limping broadband connection. CloudBerry didn't drop the connection, managed the bandwidth over the course of a LONG first upload, and did all the features I'd hoped for in the software intuitively but without assuming too much. Great tool, great to use, and I'll be using it more often from now on.

Nice File Backup Utility

I am using this product in conjunction with DriveBender on Windows 7 64bit to replace Windows Home Server 2011. The lack of expandable drive storage in WHS2011 was a deal breaker for me so I needed to try something else out.

I found that DriveBender works perfect for me. I have 10 2TB drives in my tower plus an SSD for my boot drive. The pool of hard drives provides me almost 20TB of storage for all my files. On this pool, I also keep incremental backups of my client computers. I keep all my other files on this pool as well including music, video, game install files, software ISOs, personal documents, photos, etc. I do not use file duplication to maximize space within Drive Bender, so I needed a way to backup my files locally. I found that 2 external 4TB drives connected by USB 3.0 works perfectly using CloudBerry Backup with the local file option.

I have it setup to backup daily when files are added. It hasn't missed a beat, and I feel confident that my files are backed up. Once online storage gets cheaper, and the ISP's make upload speeds legitimate for backing up personal data to the cloud, I will invest in the online services provided through CloudBerry as well. I would love to know that I had onsite and offsite backups being made through one program.

My only con about the program is that it doesn't currently work with CrashPlan, which I find is the most inexpensive option for a home user to keep off-site backups.

Over the past six months I've tried several different products to backup one of my servers, including Windows Server Backup. Neither worked consistently and were difficult to use. Cloudberry Server Backup is working perfectly and is an inexpensive solution. No need to search further!

Product works well for my home NAS backup (multiple shares) to Amazon's S3 storage service. Simple to setup and start protecting data. Customize settings for more options such as reduce unnecessary data transfer (block level backup), backup encryption for data security, version control for updated files and more!

I've been looking for a way to automatically backup data on my EC2 instances to my S3 storage and CloudBerry Backup Server Edition did that perfectly. I can schedule a backup job to run and get notifications when it fails. This software works great.

The support for the product is very good - quick responses to any questions I have which is important when supporting business critical applications. I recommend this product!

I've been looking for a reliable windows S3 backup tool for a long time. CloudBerry Backup Server Edition a great product. It has every option you would want from VSS shadow volume copying to data encryption and real time file backup.
