Easy setup and many options for customization
What do you like best about the product?
Using CloudSponge means I don't have to learn and integrate with different APIs, CSV formats and authentication schemes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up OAuth with some of the integration parties can be a pain, but that's more about OAuth than CloudSponge,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're allowing our users to import their Gmail, Outlook and LinkedIn contacts into our CRM.

What do you like best about the product?
We have exploring contact importer for our product https://democ.io and we want an seamless integration with minimum efforts. We have tested various products and finally came across Cloudsponge which we feel is the best product in the World. The ease of integration and excellent support. We love Cloudsponge.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hope to see much more Email service providers integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps people to send invites to their friends or Colleagues to join the Democ groups.

The integration was simple, the support is extraordinary, and our time to market was a small fraction of what it would have been were we successful building a similar tool ourselves.
CloudSponge even modified their product to support a unique requirement we had, so we didn’t have to make the customization ourselves. We were certainly impressed with that level of support.

No complaints, the tool did exactly what we wanted. It even gave us more options than we knew what to do with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PledgeStar wanted to make it easier for its users to send pledge requests by selecting family and friends from their online address books instead of entering them manually.
We initially started to code it ourselves, but then discovered CloudSponge and immediately realized we’d be fools to create what they had already perfected. Developing, testing and maintaining that code would surely increase our time to market and introduce unnecessary risk.
Our initial goal was to make it easier for our users to send pledge requests to their family and friends. What we didn’t anticipate was that users who used our online address book feature received 25% more donations than those who didn’t.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use for the end user. The fast import. The easy integration. The Frequent upgrades.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing i can think of in particular. Maybe the dealing with LinkedIn. import which is anyway problematic so I wouldn't blame CS

importing contacts for our end users is critical to the success of fundraising campaigns. Since email is the most effective tool for friends raising, CS is instrumental to the success of personal fundraising pages.

Easy drop in to solve a simple (but very difficult in practice) problem
What do you like best about the product?
My research on how to import email addresses from users' contacts lists and quickly became a search for the best 3rd party solution for it. It would be ridiculous to implement oauth for a couple dozen email providers so you can hook into your user's contact lists. So after an afternoon of research and tinkering around I decided on and set up CloudSponge. Their setup docs are pretty straight forward so it was easy to get working in my Rails/React app. Using the finished product after an afternoon of researching/tinkering was definitely the best part.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is a little steep. It's high enough where I considered implementing my own solution just for Gmail. However it is nice to know that many many email clients are represented so I haven't bothered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Hustle has a page where subscribers can invite their friends to subscribe, and they get referral credit. The CloudSponge plugin allows users to select emails from their email client's contact list so they don't have to type them in. We're emailing approximately 200 invites a day and about 6 people use the CloudSponge plugin. But when they do use the plugin they tend to email more people. One person invited over 6000 people from his contacts.

Google is relatively strict with what you can do with emails and therefore there is a time delay between purchasing

CloudSponge is allowing our users to upload emails from their address books into a preset email form so they can share our product
Cloudsponge has worked well for our users for years
What do you like best about the product?
We first started using Cloudsponge several years ago. Since the initial setup we haven't had any issues with it and it continues to run month after month. It saved us lots of development time compared to writing our own code to import from Google, Yahoo, AOL, etc. As our business has grown, so has our customer's usage of Cloudsponge to load their contacts into our site. We're now averaging over 1,000 address book imports a month and we almost never get questions about how to use the widget.
We recently upgraded to the new Cloudsponge widget and the timimg was great. Their new widget UI has a mobile first design and works perfectly on our new mobile friendly site.

What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup was a little tricky when linking Cloudsponge and our API keys with the 3rd party sites. That's been a while ago, so it may be an easier process now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloudsponge allows our customers the ability to imports their friends and family onto their guest list directly from many of the most common webmail and email clients. This is easier for our users than having to build their list manually in an Excel or CSV file.
Makes Invitations a Breeze
We use it at Koachable for sending out invitations to clients and it works like a charm. Easy to integrate, and nothing for us to maintain ourselves.
Fantastic time saver!
This is a must have for anyone wanting to have a contact share feature without wasting the time to code it and keep it up to date by yourself. Well worth it, if I could give more stars I would!
