SSH connection not allowed, vendor mis-configured?
I tried this out to set up as a VPN endpoint for a VPC.
SSH cannot connect with the vyos user via linux command line with the pem file, nor on Windows via Putty with the private key loaded. Used auto-generated security group allowing SSH . No matter what user I try, vyos, root, or whatever, it will not allow log in.
I disconnected the EBS storage, and mounted it to another EC2 instance. I discovered the vyos user's authorized_keys file for SSH is empty.
Appears to be vendor mis-configured, save your time and money.
