Figuring out how to use this product, it comes with preinstalled cpanel, but not whm, had to do it with ssh.

Hi GrayFox, Additional installation steps are not required to install WHM. It's possible a firewall rule was preventing connection attempts to ports 2086 or 2087 (WHM runs on these ports). I'm happy to help you troubleshoot any additional issues you encounter. Thank you.
