What do you like best about the product?
It gives us valuable insight into network traffic.
It detects threat in no time

Cost is bit high
Support to non Cisco product is limited
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use stealthwatch to monitor and analyze our network usage. we needed a tool that gives us insight on where our traffic was heading and which kind of traffic that is.

Best network monitoring solution out there

I really believe Observable Networks (Stealthwatch as it's now known) is a top notch monitoring solution.

Every alert I've received has been actionable and tunable, and scope of what's monitored is impressive.

I've used this solution at my last two jobs, and continue to be impressed by the general ease of use and lightweight utility that takes advantage of cloud-based processing natively. Well done.

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent for knowing what traffic flows from which endpoints, and then using some links to collect data about the endpoints. There is a slight learning curve with the user interface, which could improve. Once you learn, however, it is not an obstacle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like you to add a record correlation engine, which could be linked to the log files, but which would then be a SIEM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to analyze NetFlow in our organization. This gives us an important idea of ​​the types of traffic that our network devices go through and allows us to provide this information to other departments in a much easier and easier to understand way than before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
StealthWatch makes traffic reports much easier.

The best solution for network monitoring in the cloud

This is the best solution I have found for network intrusion detection in the cloud. It doesn't require an agent to run on your instances, and it sees the traffic that doesn't make it past the security group rules.

Great Technology, Even Better Support!

I was looking for a better way to monitor network security on AWS. Observable gives us much better visibility into all of the devices in our VPC and their network activity. If one ever behaves in an suspicious or abnormal fashion, we can take fast action to resolve possible issues.

The service was really easy to setup and, when I did need help, I was shocked to get a response in minutes on a Saturday night. Their support has been pretty amazing!
