Every product that I have use from Negate has been an excellent upgrade.

I like the customer service from the Tac team and I also like the function and features of the devices.

There is not much to dislike about Pfsense except for some once in a while upgrade bugs.

It was difficult to configure our web printer through the solution. This process could be easier. Additionally, integration with SD-WAN solution.

IPSEC, OpenVPN and SNORT is an excellent services and userfriendly

In my opinion, the Log display is not good.

IPsec tunnel and DDoS attack issue are coming.

What do you like best about the product?
It is an open source based piece of hardware which is high performance and easy to use.

There is a fairly steep learning curve before you can use it most effectively.

We needed both a firewall and hardware VPN for performance. This option allows us to do both without having to pay an annual software license fee.

PFSense has worked very well for our needs.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use as well as being very economical as compared to using Juniper, Cisco and others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support could be better. You need to purchase a TAC Enterprise subscription which at the end of the day cost almost twice what you spent on the appliance in some cases.

We are replacing higher cost devices from other manufacturers while getting the same type of results.

Open source and inbuilt IPS/IDS system. Also Firewall rule are easy to manage

Max bandwidth is around 5GB. Should support a complete 10G network.

It provide a simple and user friendly interface, as well as a great security and fonctionnality panel.

The only issue so far has been when upgrading from PfSense 2.4.5p1 to PfSense+ 22.05; we need to flash the appliance and restore from an older version which is not great for stability and reliability.

It helps us solve the lack of security and functionality of the internet provider modem/router and allows us to provide our customers access to their servers through VPN.
