Perfect cocktail for development and production

What do you like best about the product?
A LAMP stack is probably one of the most useful combination of applications for any web developer. Whether you are developing locally or creating a production server, Linux provides a secure and reliable platform as the backbone OS, this can be physical or virtual. You can easily serve HTML/PHP through Apache and MariaDB takes care of all your database needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it can be frustrating when modules are missing or need enabling by default. Security and speed are other concerns, however with the addition of mod-security, owasp, se-linux enabled and a good set of firewalls (hardware/software) you can have more peace of mind. I also prefer to add Nginx in the mix now to act as a reverse proxy - another speed and security boost!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LAMP has completely changed our way of working, making each day that much more productive. Compared to working with Microsoft IIS / ASP.NET, LAMP with PHP is a breeze. Plus LAMP saves on the headache and cost of licensing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would consider pairing this with Nginx, for the added security and speed boost.

What do you like best about the product?
easy to deploy and the configuration of the LAMP server is very handy to install on Linux os AND
the best part is the open-source bundle so you can Modify it accordingly as per the user requirement with the help.
The LAMP stack does not limit our development options
What do you dislike about the product?
it doe's not support operating systems other than Linux flavors.
the time-Consuming process to deploy the lamp.
performance problem in apache under a heavy workload.
limitation of multi plexing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
supporting the application and solving the contact-center issue we have an application which runs using the LAMP Stack.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easier to setup and the bundle of packages makes it unique and super quick for onboarding of applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing particular except for production environments, when large transaction data, maria DB seems limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use LAMP7 for our suites of websites and webapps testing environments. It has increased productivity and overall website ramp-up time has reduced significantly.

Its stability and overall package to deploy on cloud with less efforts

performance issue if the load is high and not having high speed of operation

We are deploying web apps on lamp server for testing and debugging purpose
