Identify & Optimize bottlenecks
What do you like best about the product?
NewRelic helps to identify the root cause of why your application performance is suffering. It's intuitive and interactive charts helps to debug the issue to its core. Features like showing the slowest query and helping to understand how one can be optimize is amazing. It also helps to understand in which part of the code it is taking too long; is it external service call, db, application stack or request queueing. It's alert and notifications mechanism is also great, we can integrate webhook to notify to our intended communication tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is little too high and sometimes would be difficult to justify. Other than pricing, it's user interface does not work well with different resolution, I suspect it is not a responsive design. UI is distorted In Chrome because of which I always have to open NewRelic web in Firefox
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to find the bottleneck in application performance. It helps us to find area to optimize for maximum return. It also helps us to determine when is a good time to scale up or down our servers. We also use it generates alerts and notification.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Rather than rolling out your own APM solution going with NewRelic will save your future time and money. It is definitely one of the best available in the market with an ease of integrating with your application code. They offer libraries for most of the popular programming language which makes integrating with NewRelic a piece of cake.

What do you like best about the product?
The Option To create reports of Server over a Span of 3 Months.!!! That is an incredible method to keep a beware of what's going on after some time and even track the advancement. Aside from that, nitty gritty Error Analytics is a Big Yes for the general population dealing with the Servers.I truly like how the dashboard is spread out for clients. It is easy to understand by enabling clients to effortlessly explore through the site to search for essential examination. What I like best is that it can without much of a stretch reveal to me which applications are slamming, which applications are sans crash, and the particular occasions that are causing the applications to crash.
What do you dislike about the product?
Execution breakdown is accessible for moderate exchanges. Very Detailed Dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how the dashboard is laid out for users. It is user friendly by allowing users to easily navigate through the website to look for important analytics. What I like best is that it can easily tell me which apps are crashing, which apps are crash-free, and the specific instances that are causing the apps to crash. The dashboard gives a detailed overview of all the apps, and helps me monitor the analytics of the all the Viacom apps. Furthermore, I can tailor the specific stats that I want to see using custom SQL code in New Relic.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I believe New Relic can improve upon is allowing the users to click on the specific crash occurrences and errors when looking through the graphs that have the analytics of the app based on user sessions with the app. Instead of just seeing the specific crashes and errors through the graph, I think being able to click on it that leads to the page with more details and information regarding the crash or error with the stack trace and event trail will be more convenient for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New Relic really helps us, QA testers, and developers understand the health of the app based on the users that are using the app and if they are experiencing any crashes or errors. This is a really helpful tool in understanding when the crashes and errors occur, how many users are affected and for how long, and where it is coming from.

This is a very helpful analytics tool to monitor the health of the app and how it is doing based on user sessions. It helps QA Analysts and Developers pinpoint issues with the app such as crashes and errors.

Ability to collate statistics from different VMs across cloud providers and provide a single view of the application.

Setting up the dashboard in quite cumbersome and not an intiutive process

With NewRelic, we can easily understand and identify the bottlenecks of the application. Very easy to integrate to application and much helpful when you want to count for every byte of data and every second of time to render the application.

No issues found in the tool to dislike it. Everything they offer is priceless.

Our application requires to show the application on multiple devices and at each device it has to perform well to consume as less data as possible and render as fast as it could.
Initially after developing the application we used NewRelic and the tool immediately identified the issues for us to resolve.

Newrelic is one of the amazing tool in current market that will analyse the code written in various technologies and helps the developers and architects to come up with better solutions and thus provide a great product for their clients.
NewRelic takes very less memory and can be easily integrated to your current code. The graphical user interface that the tool providers is easy to use and very helpful in identifying the issues which are normally not visible to naked eye.

What do you like best about the product?
Monitoring services that allow to debug the full stack of the application from backend to front to database. Makes it easy to detect problems and spot quick performance wins.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited storage on the free tier. Security obfuscation is sometimes in the way but I understand why it would be there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Optimizing web speed by finding performance slowdowns. Monitoring performance and error percentages to detect when something is broken.

It's ability to alert and manage alerts, the dashboards.

Browser functionality needs to improve. Currently it does not maps a browser transaction to the corresponding APM transaction.

What makes New Relic Browser stand out is both the ease of use and the feature richness of the tool. Its very easy to get stared on and quickly you can get to root of performance issue that can be hard to find manually.

Because, it has many features it can take some experience to filter out the noise and focus on how to best get value out of the tool.

We are using the tool to understand the performance of our front end applications, find bugs and enforce best parties among developers.
New Relic APM helps us to see errors and performance blockers of our server.
What do you like best about the product?
With New Relic APM you can analyze your website performance from the user friendly dashboard. No need to dick deep into the logs or any other place to find what causes the website down. It is very easy to get insights from the APM platform and predict feature errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
New Relic APM is pretty expensive for a small companies but it worse the price as the competirors don't have the ease of use the NRA provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New Relic helps us to keep our servers up and runing. It integrated with our WordPress and we can see the performance bottlenecks from their dashboard. It also gives many error profiling / tracing options to understand the problem more clearly. Another good thing is the MySQL performance suggestions. With New Relic you can see which query uses the most time to be executed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are running website you need to have New Relic APM to get perfromance reporting related to your server(s). They also provide a free version which is very useful to get started.
