There is really nothing i dislike with ha proxy. I just spend some time to learn how to use it.

It's easy to run. Very stable, also open source and has a aligning features. Still my favorite solution for Loadbalancing

Debugging isn't that easy. Configurations that run into empty routes are tricky to troubleshoot.
