It wasn't my decision to change platform
What do you like best about the product?
I loved the simple design the app had, as it made every use of it feel snappy, even on the computers at university.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't dislike anything in particular, maybe the front page, as it doesn't have a main form of organizing what classes are on sight, and you have to know already where to dig in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly organization of documents for most classes which it did pretty well. The main benefit is having all the class content in one single spot and not in separate emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mostly nothing, it's perfect for most people and computers.

What do you like best about the product?
Blackboard is very user friendly. As a student, I have been able to use blackboard and communicate with professors as well as other students with ease. The uploading process can be down within a few clicks of a bottom. And if a problem does a rise then Blackboard is quick to fix the problem. I would recommend Blackboard Learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
On occassion Blackboard Learn would run into errors and students would not be able to upload work. While this could be problematic if a deadline was soon approaching, blackboard was always quick to respond. The problem was always taken care of in a timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blackboard Learn, for me, was a way to connect virtually with classmates, professors, and others. This was a platform that served a functional way to submit assignments and gain feedback on those assignments. It also allows for a way to save paper and work virtually.
Accessible and Functional
What do you like best about the product?
All content is housed in the same place, and it's easy to update any readings or syllabi as needed. The journal and blog functionality was handy in my English classes. I loved the ability to toggle with privacy settings on individual blog posts. Some required student feedback, while others did not and were more of a personal experiment for my students. Overall, BlackBoard's system is flexible and able to accommodate multiple learning strategies.

BlackBoard enabled me to implement learning strategies crucial to students' success and has made online learning an asset rather than an obstacle.

What do you like best about the product?
This is one best LMS i have ever used in my life. One of the key advantages is the customization of each page. I am the program manager i used to customize the LMS according to my client's requirements. Also, i can design the pages, for example, using different colors, inserting logo's etc.

According to my thoughts, one application should serve all the things; for example, one portal should serve the purpose of LMS and staff portal.

Pros and Cons of Blackboard
What do you like best about the product?
Storage of information, User-friendly, Flexible representation of data, and You do not need technical maintenance training and uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Failure to reach consensus on a matter, Some experts might not get a chance to participate.

We use it as a course management system that allows me to provide content to all my participants.
A Better Form of Free Online Learning Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Easier to use than similar profiles, such as Moodle. Easy to learn and comes with a whole series of different options, including quizzes, grades, sharing, and attendance

Some elements require training in order to get the most out of the program

Teaching a variety of in person and online classes with the flexibility of sharing course materials with students
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider using it over existing LMS systems, including Moodle. Find it not as good as Angel, which Blackboard replaced at our institution

I don't particularly like how overwhelming some pages on Blackboard can be. There is often too much information and it can be challenging to navigate.

Got it to work
I was able to get this to work by precisely following the Usage Instructions on the Marketplace page (ignoring the first step that links out to a 404 webpage) and using Firefox as my selected browser from my Mac. It would be nice to have an idea of how outdated this version of Blackboard is, since it seems a bit old.
Blackboard works well enough.

I like that Blackboard keeps content organized, and it is student and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Blackboard's inline grading could certainly use some work. It's not easy for professors or students; professors must save every comment or it's gone, and students must scroll for awhile to read feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My online college courses are offered on Blackboard. Its easy-to-follow layout helps students navigate with few instructions.
