Blackboard SSL configuration using Lets Encrypt failed - poor instructions and documentation
When you launch this on AWS the Blackboard SSL configuration does not work out of the box. There are number of other steps mentioned that have to be completed in this article

The instructions and documentation are unclear or incomplete and the support offered poor and very few responds on the community site. You spend more time trying to fix this as opposed to actual development.

What do you like best about the product?
Blackboard learn is a very powerful tool that makes online learning an enjoyable task for the students and an easy process for teachers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of implementing blackboard learn is a bit on the high end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To provide online education for our students and Blackboard Learn filled the gaps needed.
Great for submitting homework and exams
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and the mobile app makes submitting any homework very easy by taking pictures with the phone and submitbit directly with the need of a website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when the document to submit is a bit larfe it takes very long time to upload and that made me miss few deadlines as it took more than expected
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Submitting homework and exams solution for my courses. During the pandemic that was a great feature since I don't have to physically submit the solution or send it to email for different professors. All my courses in one place and submitting with relatively easy.
Learn from anywhere any time
What do you like best about the product?
My university has all the semester course resources on it and I can access them anywhere anytime in my phone or laptop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it's so useful for students and teaching staff

I am a student, all my course information is on blackboard. In the pandemic teachers were posting video lectures as well for later review and those who missed a lecture. It's really helpful.
I am also a teaching assistant, it's an amazing tool to grade the student assignments and exams by creating rubrics. And to keep a record to students progress, all in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
On BB we can always ahead with our appointments with study. This tool provides a excellent way to schedule your class on the same time that it remembers your homework from tomorrow. And that isn't all. You can now when was your last acess in your class by color that identify periods. Easy way to organize your future.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app still need an attention. There is a lot to do on it. Tha user experience it isn't the best like it was on web.

Organized my class schedule and remind me of homework that are near to close.

One of the best plataform to put your classes. Don't miss the opportunity.
Gets the job done, but can be tricky to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it gives you one place to view all your classes (as a student or teacher). It also allows you to create folders by week (or by any other criteria) where you can upload reading assignments, assignment upload locations, and quizzes which are taken within the website.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not always easy to navigate. There is a sidebar on the left that should have all the tabs a student needs. Because there is so much there, and teachers put things in a different order, students may not be able to find everything they need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blackboard allows me as a student to complete my online coursework. It also shows what grades I have gotten on things and what my total grade is for each class. This makes it easy for me to stay on track and perform well in school.

Easy to manage
New update, changed setup.
What do you like best about the product?
It has always been easy to access and find what is needed with the previous setup of courses and folders. I additionally like how an email is sent when documents are uploaded.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the new update. It is confusing and in my opinion, unnecessary as it does not add to functionality but rather to its aesthetic. I additionally dislike the setup for individuals to edit one document together. It is glitchy and does not work well. I would much rather use google documents as everybody can see which individual is typing and there is no concern of losing information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of turning in assignments and having access to information for my synchronous and asynchronous classes during this pandemic. I have realized the benefits as I go through graduate school and need to use this site not only for my courses, to submit group presentations and collaborate with others.
New layout is much easier to use
What do you like best about the product?
Since the last update, it is much easier to use. Adding details, announcements, and assignments to the classes is so much easier and streamlined. Now it is much more user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a little bit to figure out all the changes and updates, but that's the way with pretty much any new update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is It is keeping everything together for each class and making sure to contact students in one place, which is helpful. This makes it easier to know where everything is and not have to search multiple places or wonder where something is.

What do you like best about the product?
The courses can be organized accordingly, the layout is very easy to understand. Everything you need from your account, to courses, to your grades, and more is on tab on the left where it's easy to access.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the 3 years I've been using Blackboard Learn, I haven't had any issues that were blackboard's fault. The issue I had was when my own wifi would cut out but other than that it's amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to manage my classes. The benefits is that everything you need for your courses in college is there.
