What do you like best about the product?
I think Blackboard is good to be able to access both student, and faculty/worker modules. It is easy to setup, customize, and I like that there is no limit to putting the content online.
What do you dislike about the product?
Horrible notifications, and UI. The mobile app is very hard to navigate and the font sizing are horrible for the mobile app too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a part of my job, I am required to post some course content in Research for UTA's Blackboard account. I use it because it is integrated as a part of the university's coursework but I feel neutral about it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think there are a lot of changes that need to be made to Blackboard's front end. It is only good for basic educational information and catching up.

Easy to use, fast navigation, allows integration with third-party applications
What do you like best about the product?
It is a complete LMS solution, Very easy to use, integrates with various audio and video resources, you can create your courses easily and share the didactic and complementary material, it has plugin for web conferencing where you can teach live and that will be recorded for later consultation
What do you dislike about the product?
I use Blackboard for 5 years and visual/layout has not changed. Images hosted on forums, ads and activities are unavailable for no reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blackboard Learn has given more quality to the courses offered here at the University, all course content is shared on Blackboard, activities and materials are carried out online, students can access anytime and anywhere, allow mobile access and integration with third-party media resources.

Helps keep information stored and shared in one place and for groups to discuss topics.
Good but could be better
What do you like best about the product?
I like it because me and my workers understand it. The students get on and review their class work and assignments and can send us question or remarks right on there without having to get off and email or call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its a old system. There are so many updated systems and it feels old and slow compared to other networks i have worked with
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting students and staff to collaborate together. I like that the students and other staff members can get in touch with each other.
I have used Blackboard both as a student and as a lecturer.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Blackboard is to navigate. It keeps everything in appropriate folders and is easy to navigate around on as a teacher. This helped me stay sane when I was teaching my psychology course.
What do you dislike about the product?
There weren't many things about blackboard that I did not like. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about (and maybe this has changed) was that you did not get emails when an announcement was posted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am teaching introduction to psychology using this course. My students really like it and it seems to do a great job.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool to use! I would really recommend all schools use this. We have tried other learning platforms and they do not seem to be as great as Blackboard. I, as a student, thought it was very easy to use and keep track of my important class information and deadlines, and as an instructor, I feel that it was very easy to get into contact with students and upload important resources.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can see when assignments are due when I look at the calendar. I like how I can edit which classes show on my homepage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the layout, it is very outdated. Needs a sleeker look

It makes it easy for me to keep track of due dates and emails you a confirmation when you turn an assignment in.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
At first, the homepage can look overwhelming, but if you go to the edit section you can edit how much shows up on your homepage and filter what pops up.
User-friendly with no major downsides
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it has a clean layout. It's simple and easy to navigate, and the interface is user-friendly. It's very organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is that the interface can sometimes look outdated compared to other interfaces. It also can be a little slow at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blackboard Learn has impacted my work in mostly good ways. I've learned how to organize certain content and it's been nice to see all of my work laid out in the calendar. It's easy to keep track of things.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use. It is not a cookie cutter approach, as you can customize it to your needs and likes.
What do you dislike about the product?
development of new technologies that can be used in the lms is somewhat limited. Mobile app development has not continued as it should have. Does not allow for email replies to messages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a higher education, there are not many other products to look at. This is one of the top systems that allows for lots of customization and ease-of-use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a family of software that has been around for 20+ years and was one of the first. They continue to improve at a constant rate, sometimes not as fast as we like, but it gets done. I continue to look at other products and I keep coming back to Blackboard. It is easy to use and I have come very accustomed to the setup and layout in different institutions servers and it is very intuitive.

Its a Good Resource
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Blackboard is when professors actually utilize the program and post resources or lecture slides on their. This allows you never miss out on notes and feeling confident in the class because you have the resources available to improve your notes or take notes. This truly gives you a better chance of passing the class with a better grade. What is also nice is that it can send out warning on the computers if something happens. What is also great is when you have online classes it provides a sense of community for the class and allows you a way to interact with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Blackboard is that we have glitches or the system goes down here and there. It can just be inconvenient and annoying that it has these issues at times and its never expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was a management system to be able to connect students to professors and improve online courses. It provides a community for classes that do not meet in person.

Great program just give it time and you can unlock its full potential.
