Easy connect
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to connect with professors and students and to gain access to files and assignments. Makes all information needed for contacting peers easily available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not always the most user friendly. Some applications more difficult to access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very easy to connect with peers and have forums for conversation

I like that blackboard is intuitive and is learned easily.

What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration and communication I so important, and in a mostly online classroom I thought the way we were able to communicate made it feel alot less remote.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were times when glitches happened and some of the posts would disappear leaving the conversation unknown ornot make sense but overall the system wrroked well. I didn't like the way grades are displayed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again the communication when not able to always be in a physical classroom are so essential. Especially from a graduate school perspective.
Very efficient and streamlines the class
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy interface. I like how the most recent annonucements and changes are in the middle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the requirement to disable the pop up blocker for tests and would like everything to happen in the same window.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used this as a college student and a high school teacher. I benefited from having access to important class information at the touch of my phone or computer.

What do you like best about the product?
BlackBoard Learn allows me fast and easy access to all of my courses. Right now, I am a full-time online-only student so accessibility is important. Blackboard Learn allows me to communicate daily with my professors and fellow students outside of email. The general layout is easy to read...basically everything that you need is at your fingertips. This is a must for all college students.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not came across anything that was of great distaste about BlackBoard Learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't solve any business problems with Blackboard Learn. I am a college student. Blackboard allows me the ease and accessibility that I need to pursue my education via E-Learning.

Blackboard Learn is a phenomenal tool and resource for online learning. Whether you're a full-time online-only student or split your classes to both campus and online...Blackboard Learn is definitely a staple for college life.

The ability to input and organize different lessons, including media content and links. File size uploads can be large with no issue. Organization of Discussion boards is the best I have seen from these platforms. The ability to administer exams through the software is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needing to open different browser windows to access some linked content. The never ending "unread" discussion board posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Distance learning, as well as communication and assignment/test submission for in-person learning! Organization of course content and class expectations.

What do you like best about the product?
Blackboard is a great tool to manage educational classes. It's easy to follow, whether you're a student or an educator. It is organized in a simple manner that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate. There are lots of possibilities available with Blackboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
The simplicity of Blackboard is almost too basic at points. It would be nice if some more advanced features were available at some points.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business benefits of Blackboard Learn are that it allows colleagues and students to interact on a platform from the comfort of their own home or office. It allows private messages and whole group discussions to take place.

What do you like best about the product?
I find that Blackboard is an awesome LMS. Everything is very organized and orderly. Easy to manipulate for adding information such as test, quizzes, and message boards. Also is very user friendly with regard to tallying my grades for my classes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The major issue I have had with the software is my inability to create my own content. However, I discovered that it was a feature that had been disabled by administrator. My other issue is that Blackboard doesn't have the best mobile interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One major issue with our school is the inability to tap in the market of non-traditional student market. Blackboard gives us that flexibility by allow is to provide hybrid courses and so fully online courses.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Blackboard is an awesome package with great support. But make sure that whomever your campus administrator is gives creative freedom to the professors using the software.
