Very easy to maneuver
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about blackboard is the fact that I can use it on all platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about blackboard is that the HTML organizer wasn’t working well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits that are useful to me from this application is that it lets me know class is cancelled. Notifications are semi easy to find.

The ability to complete 99% of schoolwork in one place is convenient.

The interface is very generic and it would be nice to receive notifications from this site.

What do you like best about the product?
The send announcement email immediately feature. It ensures that students have an email copy of the announcement post, making students less likely to miss an important announcement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to schedule assignments. It would be helpful to be able to input assignments and then set dates and times at which the assignments would automatically go live.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
N/A. I use Blackboard Learn as a facilitator at a university.
Complicated initially, often frustrating
What do you like best about the product?
It has a lot of applications and a lot of online space. You can also use it to upload course materials and docs, and create annotations. Useful also to collect students' info, and contact them directly via email generated by BB.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow; categories are counterintuitive; often feels like you have to go through several steps for nothing. Could be way simpler overall
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teaching needs like having a grading roster or course blog. Those are ok.

User friendly and easy navigation
What do you like best about the product?
I found this system to be quick to learn how to navigate and things were very logically organized. This made the system very user friendly. I was happy that I was able to collaborate with peers on presentations with Blackboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked the visual appeal of the program, but it's not a deal breaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think the ability to present visuals online while conferencing will be beneficial to businesses. I have not personally used it to problem solve anything business related.

Supporting blackboard is like pulling teeth as many of their features will break inconsistently on different browsers and blackboard themselves have claimed to not support Safari at times.

I like how I can easily communicate with my students and upload the materials required for my classes.

Sometimes it is confusing figuring out where the material is or what folders they're files into.

I use Blackboard every day with my students. It's an easy way to keep track of their work and submit their grades.

What do you like best about the product?
Blackboard serves as an online archive of all learning materials conveniently organized by courses and subdivisions within. Documents, assignments, and quizzes are all easily accessible. Plus, there’s a mobile app so you can access blackboard from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface could be enhanced to be cleaner and easier to use. The embedded window for assignment submission occasionally alters formatting. The website also doesn’t allow for instructors to post embedded videos or pdfs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blackboard solves the problem of distributing learning materials from instructors to learners in an organized fashion all in one place — a virtual curriculum. It has eliminated daily paper hand outs, aggregated all materials of the same category or topic in place (ex. materials for cardiovascular physiology or quizzes for anatomy class), and allowed universal and immediate access to this virtual curriculum.
