Blackboard Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like it that Blackboard has options for contacting classmates and the professor through the software!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes the server goes down. I also think that the spell check options could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to complete homework assignments without using Microsoft word. Blackboard is also beneficial for communicating with classmates about an assignment without having to provide phone numbers.

Still save your work in case of malfunction!

What do you like best about the product?
From a student's perspective, I like how we are able to access our entire course as well as our entire course history on this website. I also like how announcements made by professors are also linked to the email we use for the university. Another source that this can be used for is for a student to communicate with the other students in their class.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure if this is a software program issue or not, but I don't like how we aren't able to access pass course material. I would like if we didn't have to download a word document and instead see it on the website once we click on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have better ability to upload class assignments to one software for both our professors and ourselves to see. There is also an option to re-upload the document if it's allowed by our professor. We are also able to see notifications on grades, etc. through announcements.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The desktop version is better to use than the app.

What do you like best about the product?
This was my favorite modality I used as a student and as an administrator in my profession. I felt it was easy to use, and understand how to post on threads and comment back to colleagues. Submitting assignments was easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really wasn't anything I disliked about blackboard and its system, it was easy to check on the back end, and being a student as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Checking grades status, fixing assignments, making sure students accounts were in order.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend using blackboard over other online modalities, I feel this system was the easiest to use of the ones I have worked with.
Global Classroom through Blackboard
What do you like best about the product?
I have been a student and teacher through blackboard. It is streamlined, straight forward and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not like that you cannot decide the order of files when you upload, instead they go by upload date/time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have taken several courses with an international community. Blackboard made it easy to share discussions and documents across international time zones.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Blackboard has since switched to Canvas and I have not yet used the new interface.

What do you like best about the product?
Blackboard is very user friendly and offers many different PD and educational uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to run into any issues with the content.

We are able to communicate with students effectively while also providing a quality educational experience.

It's intuitive how to use it. Its easy to navigate. It neatly organises you're work so you can easily locate it

Sometimes can be a bit slow. My university lecturers have had trouble uploading material onto it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Blackboard is a "one stop shop" for an online classroom. I have used Blackboard as both a graduate student and a teacher and I think it is fairly easy to use and navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the lack of personalization and customization on the Blackboard site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blackboard enables me as an online teacher to effectively teach and manage an online course for many students.
Basic Access Learning Modules
What do you like best about the product?
Blackboard has a fairly easy navigation. I like that creating new modules for your homepage is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Blackboard is fairly plain...and limited as far as what you can input into the system goes as far as back end programming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blackboard is a great tool to get cross-campus accessibility and alerts in one place.

I appreciate the versatility of Blackboard. The product is useful to both students and staff members.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t have any major criticisms of blackboard. It was a little difficult to navigate initially, but most questions about where things were located could be addressed through trial and error
