Very nice platform for class material
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that I can easily have access to all class materials on this platform, submit homework and exam. I even can grade student homework on the blackboard which is very convenient. Sometimes, students can even listen to live lectures if they could not attend class.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any specific things that I dislike this product.

Enhanced the Education and Online Class Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The Blackboard platform was user-friendly and fast to load. I used it while completing online courses at Buffalo State College. I also used it in conjunction with an in-person class at Buffalo State College. It made things such as course outlines/syllabus paperwork, homework assignments, due dates/deadlines, and classmate information easy to access. It was also easy to submit completed coursework through the Blackboard platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't recall having disliked anything in particular about the platform. It was easy to use and served its purpose well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blackboard absolutely enhanced the education and online class experience for me. It closed the gap between distance learning and classroom learning by providing distance learners with the tools necessary to be successful while completing coursework from home. All coursework information was available on Blackboard, and completed assignments were easily submitted through the platform for instructor review and scoring.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've had only positive experiences with the software and therefore highly recommend it to potential users/administrators.

Some of the features are confusing and not clear.

It's a good system for our students to use for online classes, coursework and everyday communications.

There are a few tabs that I believe are unnecessary.

Benefits the students and allows for a more remote experience.

Working in groups and being able to communicate worked pretty well

What do you like best about the product?
Blackboard is versatile allowing the instructors to design and create how they seem best fit for their class. You can create test online, notes, assignments. Our instructors like that you can create two version of the class to fit the needs of a variety of students - for example if you have some students with special accommodations it is very easy to do that with blackboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our instructors find that there can be a steep learning curve when first being introduce to blackboard as it is different from other platforms the university has used in the past. Students complain that it can be challenging to navigate or it will "act up" during online exams and mess up there ability to answer questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because it is so versatile we have been able to achieve far more with blackboard than we have using other platforms. We are able to mold the content how best fits for each individual class and more importantly to our students. We have cut down on cost because our students are able to turn in assignments much easier online and communicate with their peers and professors in a more convenient and efficient manner.

Never hurts to try it out, its amazing how much the program has grown and how much more you can do with it then what I have seen out there.
Great across different devices
What do you like best about the product?
I am able to open Black board on my ipad, phone and computer at the same time without issues. Whenever there is a grade update or a new assignment posted, it sends me notifications not only to my email address, but to my phone as well. I can also email my entire class from here and makes it easy to submit assignments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they calendar was more friendly. I wish all the assignment that are posted would should up on the calendar automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to complete my assignments and have used it for the past 6 years. I also use it to communicate with my instructors and teammates.

Take time to learn it, especially as a student..

Blackboard works when it needs to. I appreciate the user-friendly approach.

The main issue for organizations using Blackboard is training their users.

It offers centralization (a single repository) of resources for the students.
Great for Online Learning
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to have course materials, videos, exams etc all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be confusing for students some times. Information and documents can be in multiple places at times. Also some browsers can cause compatibility issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a platform for not only distance learning, but also supplements traditional face -to-face classes.
Multifunctional Academic Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I really liked that as a professor and a student, I could use Blackboard for both academic pursuits without having multiple profiles.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main layout didn't always please me since some of my older classes still came up first on the list when I signed in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blackboard helps professors and students alike stay organized in their academic involvements. I also know, as a coach, that Blackboard was the base for any of the sport psychologist's or nutritionist's information/advice.

Helpful in most instances & nice ease of use for both professors & students.
