What do you like best about the product?
Course Organization: Blackboard Learn offers a structured environment where course materials, assignments, and resources are neatly organized, making it easy to navigate and access everything in one place.

Communication Tools: The built-in communication tools like announcements, discussion boards, and messaging help facilitate effective interaction between instructors and students. This is particularly useful for clarifying doubts and engaging in discussions outside the physical classroom.

Assignment Submission: The assignment submission system is efficient and user-friendly. It allows students to submit their work digitally, and instructors can provide feedback directly on the platform, streamlining the feedback process.
What do you dislike about the product?
User Interface: The user interface feels somewhat outdated and can be confusing for new users. A more modern and intuitive design would enhance the user experience and make navigation easier.

Mobile App Experience: The mobile app version of Blackboard Learn could be more polished. It currently lacks some features available on the desktop version, and the app's performance can be inconsistent.

Complexity for Instructors: While the platform offers many features, some instructors might find it overwhelming to set up and manage their courses, especially when dealing with larger class sizes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralization: It provides a centralized platform for all course-related activities, which streamlines the learning process and keeps everything organized.
Flexibility: It allows for asynchronous learning, accommodating various schedules and learning styles.
Communication: The communication tools facilitate easy interaction with instructors and peers, addressing doubts and sharing insights outside of the physical classroom.
Feedback Loop: The assignment submission system and feedback mechanism allow for timely assessment and improvement of my work.

Blackboard is my daily coursework app for obtaining my college degree from Strayer University.

  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
That it allows me access to my weekly Coursework for my classes, which in turn allows for me to complete my education from home. Although I am unaware of who many of them competitors may be, I'm certain if it were not the best platform available, Strayer would not have enlisted them as their main source.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it needs updating almost weekly sometimes. While I don't have the BEST wifi service to allow ease of access, when the app gets stuck, it stays stuck. I would like to see it updated and capable of easier use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blackboard Learn is solving the problem of allowing me to remotely complete my degree without th daily hustle of having to report to a classroom. It allows me to complete and submit coursework on my own schedule.

What do you like best about the product?
I like ow things are organized with folders and ways to keep up with varying types of data. Though, that depends on the ways the creator organizes their thoughts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creators may organize their data in varying formats, which can make it hard to find the information you are looking for when looking for the same information from multiple creators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a way to obtain lectures and data, including PDFs, links and other resources. It also offers discussion boards where learners can interact. It makes spreading classroom learning easy, virtually.
