Good on virtualization; Deployments could use some work

  • December 04, 2019

What do you like best?
Tibco is a great way to quickly set up federated queries across heterogeneous sources.
What do you dislike?
The migration/deployment capabilities are a little funky especially when trying to deploy a particular service within a web service container. We also have difficulties with race conditions when different teams deploy the same object at different deployment intervals. Also, A lot of end users get confused about how to optimize their queries and understanding how to leveraqe the explain plans.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Federating different sources. Quick way to integrate without having to create complex ETL jobs
