Rookout enables us to debug along side real user production traffic, with low impact on the end user
What do you like best about the product?
- It is easy to install and get up and running.
- Debugging production traffic in real-time.
- Syncing of GitHub projects to the application in the interface, and with a little configuration you can set this up to sync out of the box.
- Very helpful and engaging Customer Success.

What do you dislike about the product?
- The web UI doesn't work in Safari.
- We are a predominantly Java shop. Whilst you are able to view call stack information, local and global variable state, it is not possible to read ThreadLocal state or place breakpoints in lambdas.
- Python required a little more leg work to get up and running. The Java agent-based solution is transparent to the application.
- No view on breakpoint overheads within the UI. When setting a breakpoint on a hot code path/mission-critical code path it would be nice to know the impact it has on request performance.
- No IDE (IntelliJ) plugin support. It would be great to not even have to leave your development environment.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Not needing to have a production environment replicated to a debugging environment.
- Lower impact on the end user, and easier setup than with JMX based breakpoint debugging.
- Lower MTTR for debugging in production incidents.
- Quicker turnaround time for addressing bugs in the development environment during QA.

It is very useful and help dubbing, it have good ui ux experience, but there is a place to improve
What do you like best about the product?
The power to debugging prod, and replace the console logs
What do you dislike about the product?
There is sometimes miss understanding about the breakpoints when they are disabled, and sometimes the code is not updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The power to debugging prod, and replace the console logs
The app itself is good, been using it for a while in our environments.
What do you like best about the product?
Deployment is relatively easy, the best thing is that you don't use it for a month but when it comes to it it can literary save you a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of multiple languages support, they do support the major ones but as far as I understood not all languages are supported
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Live debug, to catch errors grafana / loki can't catch
Great tool for debugging production env
What do you like best about the product?
It's very helpful for seeing a static state in all environments, which can solve lots of bugs that usually require writing a lot of logs
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup caused some problems for me. It would be great if you can have more debugging abilities (like IDE), like continuing from a static state to debug on virtual server
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a lot of edge cases on our crawling applications, and its very hard to recreate some of them on our local envs. Rookout helps us not to invest on recreating those scenarios on our local envs
Great tool for safely debugging production code
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to safely debug production, knowing no harm will be done
What do you dislike about the product?
It would have been nice if they could let temporary change code
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before rookout, for debugging purposes i used to deploy my code with debug logs, and with rookout I can just debug production without wasting time on deploying new versions with enhanced logs, nor need to maintain too logged code base.
Performance monitoring tool
What do you like best about the product?
I have used both the parts of the tool-Dynatrace appmon and dynatrace synthetic amd I must say the tool is best among all the performance monitoring tool available in the market
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to be disliked about this tool. Even as a fresher this tool was very easy to learn, the graph and dashboard creation was easy and once it is created monitoring becomes easy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used dyntrace for performance monitoring of telecommunication site b2c model and it helped to identify a bug while stress testing the application which helped the client a lot
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good tool for performance monitoring.
Best in class
What do you like best about the product?
The depth in which they go in each of their blog & articles is very insightful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI part of the website could be more engaging and secondly, we expect newsletter on weekly basis.

Best solution to debug your code online by putting non breaking breakpoint
What do you like best about the product?
This help me to write code with online debugging and also help in bug fix. It also set a non breaking breakpoint that will not stop our application in between. It also generate a dynamic log line into running instance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can dislike about this as this resolve my problem and reduce efforts of testing and bug fix but yes if they can improve and add more features so it will be more useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We resolve our debug problems without stopping our application and we get a bug fix as well which reduce our efforts and time and increases the efficiency. Overall I am satisfied.
Powerful APM tools, save time and effort.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Dynatrace is that it provides live alerts and synthetic monitoring of online or cloud-based apps with adequate tracking and monitoring, that it has strong predictive data analytics, and that its deployment is extremely simple to operate. This is a benefit of artificial intelligence since it develops technical parameters in each monitoring. It also clearly displays the interdependence of services. It enables consumers to see the stages a call takes as it moves through your system. When you represent consistency in an environment, telemetry and intelligence from hundreds of different technologies begin to come in.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don't like about the Dynatrace tool is the threshold offered for alert control, since we have gotten several false signals when verifying the application's functionality. Synthetic monitoring is useful, however because of the coding, smaller businesses are unable to employ it. It's worth noting that technical assistance remains arrogant and ineffective. They don't read the tickets and then ask for information that we've previously provided them, which wastes your time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace is one of the best APM tools for monitoring online or cloud-based applications, with live tracking and the option to set active alerts according on our needs. This tool also offers synthetic monitoring, which displays real availability data for the application. Dynatrace is excellent at identifying underlying causes of issues which has been a big help to our team. We can rapidly determine which services have been delayed or blocked, as well as what is causing other systems to fail. We are witnessing a significant advantage from Dynatrace in terms of giving relevant information at a glance, as well as application troubleshooting and grading of these issues based on priority.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dynatrace can assist anyone in determining the source of their application's issues. Database calls, network traffic, and user sessions are all examples of this. Additionally, it is ideal for situations in which companies desire to automate the tracking and discovery of technologies inside their environment. It is the best APM solution for tracking and monitoring online or cloud-based applications using statistics and synthetic monitoring.
