What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace provides full stack monitoring to ease our monitoring solution as a whole, which include:

- host and application monitoring
- problem notification for SOC and operations
- customer facing dashboards
- internal and external problem triage and root cause analysis
- Business Intelligence (BI) data analysis
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Cost is always a problem, though we have bulk purchase agreement.
2. Time to market. As project deadline and fast pace IT enviroment, we need a solid tool to deploy in a timely manner.
3. Support availability. Dynatrace support is not available sometime during APJ time. Fortunately, we have ex-Dynatrace colleagues who knows the product very well, so as to solve the problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Dynatrace helps a lot in application analyse, especially its profiling, stack trace so on.

2. Help us on correct path to achieve our goal
- zero touch monitoring configuration: monitoring is automatically configured upon provisioning of environments - no - human interaction
- automated and no-touch data export for customer facing dashboardind and BI consumption
- reduction and automation of problem notifications for SOC operations. Eliminating alert spam to meaningful problems
- customer access to problem triage and root cause analysis with full transparency
Recommendations to others considering the product:
First, you need to consider the cost. Dynatrace price is bit higher thant other monitoring solution. But it provides good overall experience.
Secondly, dynatrace inital deployment maybe complex(this could be one-off, after that it's smooth)
Support is also one factor, I suggest you have some expert in your team/company who knows Dynatrace very well.

What do you like best about the product?
Correlates all business ecosystem, quickly pointing out the root cause of the problem;
Easy to integrate other solutions using APIs(API Friendly);
Easy to create plugins for especialized monitoring;
Friendly interface;
Robust architecture.
What do you dislike about the product?
Solution NAN is gone, but i understood this reason for this;
Don´t have support for synthetic mobile monitoring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation and management of the infraestructure of a complex environment of IT, 25k hosts monitored. We deplored this amount of agents in 3 months, incrible;
With metrics of Dynatrace was possible implement self-realing more easier;
The easy intregation other solutions was possible create a magnificent dashboards for management of business.

If you are looking for a solution for infrastructure and application performance management, you have found the right solution, with this engine it is possible for the company to have the right answers for the growth of its business.

Dynatrace - Good Application Performance Monitoring capabilities with easy Integration Capabilities

What do you like best about the product?
Diverse set of features available for application performance monitoring.
Pick and choose the different monitoring parameters .
Ability to customize dashboard and incorporate custom monitoring needs.
Easy Integration with Messaging channels like Slack for prompt notification
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific but given an opportunity would like to reduce the turn around time for initial deployment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a integrated log monitoring solution using Dynatrace which helps us proactively monitor our logs and check performance of our distributed web services , there response time, time out issue and proactively update us in Slack channels. This has reduced MTBF (Mean time between failures) since now we can proactively find issue much before they happen in our DEV/TEST environments and take remediation steps.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be ready with you use cases for Dynatrace product evaluations and also your key evaluation metrics. . Prioritize your requirements for good product evaluations. There are so many diverse features in this product and it important to focus on what your need is vs what all it can offer.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace is a very complete and useful tool. Because it's automatic and smart, with Davis AI, all monitoring gets easier, and employee time is optimized. Covers all layers of an application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price. Even though it's high, I'd say it's a fair price for the quality of the delivered product. It is a price i would pay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All types of problems are solved because it is possible to have visibility of the entire environment.

Strongly recommend this tool, will meet your expectations.

It's easy to get lost in the product and can be difficult to find what you're looking for.

Problem and root cause analysis. We also use the alerting capabilities of the Dynatrace platform.

Making complicated infrastructures simple

What do you like best about the product?
Setting up synthetic monitoring is key for us as we're setting up automated testing of our services 24/7. We love being able to generate synthetic traffic on our services.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is inconsistent is some places. The way to save configurations seem to differ in some places ex: save button, Checkmark button or autosave features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were first able to reduce our downtime during incidents. Second, we've been able to set up alerts on critical business transactions and services to ensure it's availability at all times. Third, we were able to set up dashboards to better understand our availability of our services. Fourth, we've been able to use dynatrace as a profiler for loadtesting our applications. This product is very versatile and can be used as much by operations, developpers, sys admins, etc.

You won't be disappointed.

The correlation problem when you could find the root cause of a problem.

It is very difficult try to customize the smart scapes, somethines it shows million of components and it does not help us

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace is a great monitoring tool and it is easy to use, with feature rich and Ease of use, Ease of integration, Dashboards, monitoring features, pure path etc., multiple plugins , it can integrate with any 3rd party component and you can write your own plugin and deploy on Active gate. One agent, Active gate are really great features which make monitoring robust. Alerting, Noise reduction. It gives really good insight into the application deployed application behavior etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dynatrace offers ,Everything what a standard monitoring tool has to offer. Except the network bandwidth it consumes and a bit difficult in integrating custom plugin with third party tool rest all features are good. all features are good
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Region Availability monitoring, Performance issue etc. we use monitoring Infrastructure, network components, Virtual machine, applications, services. and many components associated with application. One agent, Active gate are really great features which make monitoring robust.

With current pace of technology and to meet customer demand , Every IT organization should have Monitoring and Security. Dynatrace tool helps make developer life easy while it gives insight to application to make it better
