What do you like best about the product?
Saas version is very easy to configure and extremely comprehensive
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve using the UI as it has so much information
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to pinpoint the cause of a high profile production incident

Very useful tool, go for it. Insufficient logging and monitoring is a newcomer to the OWASP top 10 and this Dynatrace helps protect against that.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setup and configuration – takes no time which is great as it doesn’t take up much engineer resource
The AI is excellent and straight out of the box started picking up problems and telling us how our systems and services were functioning

What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard functionality could be a little better, we have very simple dashboards configured of our front of house teams which clearly show when we have an issue.
But been able to show more information on technical dashboards with more configuration options would be good.
Dynatrace have this on their roadmap and some of the upcoming features look excellent so we are excited to start to use them

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an IT Operations team Dynatrace has really helped us to become more pro-active, we are now starting to be able to notify business users of issues before they are effected meaning we can resolve the issue with zero business impact

What do you like best about the product?
we have used other non-synthetics monitors but my first experience with Dynatrace was all that I was looking for. I can now see how our users experiencing our software. Our engineers can deep dive into their code and find out what is bugging the performance down.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on which version is used then deployment can be a pain if the Non SaaS version is being used. The deployment needs a-lot of deep knowledge about all the pieces that you don't even need to know after deployment. Use of their after sale technical support is recommended

Performance analysis, user experience and service level agreement management

It is a good product. It can replace other monitoring tools.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace is easy to learn, but hard to master. This means that absolutely anyone is able to work with Dynatrace and the possibilities are endless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see some AppMon features making their way to Dynatrace. But you guys are working on that :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dynatrace for different customers and use it to manage KPI's, monitor environments and stress tests.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace was easy to install on our infrastructure and once installed the results were instant. Great diagnostic monotoring tool which looking back wonder how we used to manage without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the early stages it detects that much it made setting up the alerts a littel tricky a little too much noise, once this fine tuning was completed no issues.

Great tool for alerting us to the fcat that we may be about to have an issue giving us time to put mearsures in place to resolve

What do you dislike about the product?
-Navigating back to pages I viewed previously. Sometimes I found it difficult finding the same page I found useful whilst going through a number of pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with 24x7 monitoring to various applications across the estate. Whilst also giving a good level of detail of where the issues lie such as which transactions are failing, which web pages are causing the issues, what errors are being found etc. It has helped in providing a high level of detail to vendors for issues found. It has helped for investigation to open problems that require a certain level of proof before proceeding with changes that could help re-mediate the issues found on the system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your monitoring tools aren't up to scratch and you're unable to understand some of the issues you're finding on your system, get Dynatrace. You won't look back.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace provides many options - is very flexible - when it comes to creation of your own dashlets/dashoboards.
It's very useful tool to alert Support teams in case of any issue.

What do you dislike about the product?
Pretty much nothing. You need to have budget to get it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Dynatrace to monitor health of our servers and apps. It works very well preventing issues (e.g. server CPU is reaching 90%). We attached agents to our applications and have alert/notifications when something is not right.
As well we use it to get statistics on the usage of our apps (e.g. web pages, amount of incoming messages etc).

DynaTrace is an exciting and reliable tool that is ever evolving
What do you like best about the product?
So much, but the main features adding value: PurePaths, Session Replay and Root cause
What do you dislike about the product?
Length of time to deploy (AppMon) - it took nearly 12 months to put into estate of around 1000 hosts. Dynatrace reduces this significantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Negated the need for a dedicated 1st line monitoring team

There is nothing I dislike really, it is provides exactly the visibility you need

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Dynatrace it gives you answers not Incidents. Lots of monitoring can tell you that you have an issue with Dynatrace it tells you that and tells you where and why.
What do you dislike about the product?
From using this product for over 3 years there is nothing I dislike about it.

we are identifying where issues are and why they are happening and what we need to do to resolve.
