We actually needed clarity on the vulnerabilities in our infrastructure. We used the solution to scan and make a report for us on what is vulnerable in our infrastructure and what is not, what we can improve and update, and what is good as it is.

Tool for vulnerability management
What do you like best about the product?
Tenable.io just does its work of managing the existing vulnerabilities in the organisation to keep the organisation up to date with the its existing vulnerabilities and maintain the vulnerability cycle so that system is secure and no data is compromised.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions filters or categories need to be search and take time to locate and utilize to take action on time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides risk waste vulnerability management and helps to check what type of patches are needed for the respective vulnerability. That is most helpful feature.
A stable vulnerability management tool with a good user interface
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
It is a very, very user-friendly tool. To make some sense, you just need to put in your domain and click a button to scan and give you a piece of customized information about your infrastructure. It is very easy to use to schedule a scan, and it can consume a lot of CPU resources. So, you can schedule a scan between 1 AM to 3 AM, and it works very well for us.
What needs improvement?
I didn't work a lot with the solution. My experience was pretty smooth. I don't have any recommendations for improvement. Maybe it's because I don't use it a lot.
The only drawback of the solution is that it is expensive. The pricing should be kept lower.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have experience with Tenable.io Vulnerability Management. I used it six months ago. I used it for two years. I am a customer of the solution.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It is a very stable product.
How was the initial setup?
The setup is easy. Tenable.io Vulnerability Management is known for its ease of setup.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Tenable.io is not known for being a cheap product. You definitely can have another product that could be cheaper than Tenable.io. If you have a real concern with your budget, maybe another platform would be of interest to you.
You can find other tools that are way cheaper, with similarities to Tenable.io. I would say it may not be the same tool, but similar.
What other advice do I have?
The solution's user interface was very good.
It's one of the best tools available for vulnerability management. I would definitely recommend the solution to those planning to use it.
I rate the overall solution a ten out of ten.
Simple, easy and effective. Low rate of false positive.

I like the effectiveness, highly custom dashboards, tags rules and auto-discovery features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Not integration with CI/CD pipelines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility of our security weakness, and continuous (or near to) asset inventory update (auto-discovery features).

Integration with various SaaS Platforms and also include Posture Management tools for various cloud and SaaS platforms

Continous Detection of Vulnerabilities across On-premise and Cloud. Integrates with AWS , AZure platforms to detect container and dynamic cloud vulnerabilities. Providing with remediation and also assisting in Regulatory compliance like ASD Essential Eight

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Tenable can show us all the vulnerabilities that could be a risk in our environment, and it is available to connect with our jira, which we use to create tickets for each issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
i don't have any that could say that it dislike, but should be good to have a remediating link to avoid losing some time on the investigation, o maybe it is present, but I'm unable to find id

Tenable is helping us to register all the possible vulnerabilities and try to solve a soon possible, it is beneficial to avoid any risk in our infrastructure, and we could follow tru tickets

What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface to Tenable.io (Cloud). Our Security Compliance Engineer, Clint L., just implemented the solution, providing a more concise and precise description of our active vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some filters and categories to review your active vulnerabilities are hidden and hard to locate within the dashboard. I had to directly discuss some of my questions with Clint, our Security Compliance Engineer, for assistance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a hybrid infrastructure and mainly need the product to identify all the latest vulnerabilities. We have several groups within the company that manage and remediate all issues identified by the product.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, effective in finding vulnerabilities, and up to date regarding Threat hunting and finding misconfigurations. Takes a lot of pressure and time off of Threat Management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot fault anything at this time; even their support is excellent. I have been using the product for 2 years and have never come across a problem that wasn't resolved within hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of our customers require Vulnerability Management solutions and tests to remain compliant. Tenable solves this issue by allowing us to offer ongoing vulnerability management for our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
I think Tenable does an excellent job at scanning and assessment but also does a great job at organizing the data from these scans and presenting it in an easy-to-view dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be more focus on training beforehand to ensure the potential customer has a complete grasp on how to FULLY utilize the product. It can go very in-depth with the scanning and threat assessments.

Tenable has shown us many gaps in our vulnerability scanning and risk-based analysis. It has shown us many areas where we lack patching management and security operations.

Tenable we absolutely brilliant in providing help during the pre-engagement stage and also during the implementation of Temable,io, they have also provided support to us after the too when we needed to increase our licence count during renewal
What do you dislike about the product?
None, at the moment; if there was anything we would be on to the account manager if this was the case, and i am sure it would be resolved very quickly , they provide a dedicated account manager
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem it help resolve is to find out what vulnerabilities are on our network and on our end-user devices, this has been a lifesaver so we can address the priority issues
