Performance packed database
What do you like best about the product?
When you think about the performance of a database and it's robustness postgresql is the best option.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pg admin should be simplified,some times split windows are too crowded to look at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the system gets bigger the queries got complicated then postgresql is game changer. Data analysis is also a great boost to system.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very robust and easy to install and configure. there are large number of add ons which can be used in this database. Overall it is best db for a developer.
What do you dislike about the product?
the queries which requires large calculations are very slow. Many a times i faced problem with the way its indexing work for a particular table in database which is headache for developers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using PostgreSQL for my database queries. the trigger handling property using PostgreSQL makes it very easy as compared to other db langauges. I found it very reliable and easy to use.
Great open-source database system
What do you like best about the product?
It is completely free, easy to set up, extremely robust, and has great performances on concurrency, transactions, and schema. It is also well-supported so new features and improvements are rolled out frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
For large-scale enterprise applications, PostgreSQL is slow. Horizontal scaling is difficult and a culprit. Could use improvements for JSON. Not a lot of online documentation and resources available compared to MySQL.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing and querying a large amount of data across applications. PostgreSQL makes the ETL process very easy along with being able to onboard new team members. Overall, it enabled us to store and utilize our data well.

What do you like best about the product?
PostgreSQL is a good option as an object-related database since it's free it is very convenient for us to request management to use it. One can use it for data storage and analysis both.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are missing which we can find in other database systems.
If I compare MYSQL and PostgreSQL in terms of optimization help through explain plan than MYSQL provides a more readable way than Postgre, after reading the MYSQL plan one can change its query to optimize it very easily while it's a bit difficult in Postgre explain plan.

Database with PostgreSql
What do you like best about the product?
Best thing is its very easy to use and its training and support is easily available as one SQL language works same for almost all databases. If we know the tool well then sql knowledge is not much required. Also knolwedge of sql can be used in any databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
This tool is not used by many people which makes it hard to share file or databases with others. Compared to ssms its not have that much features and creating keys are also hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With basic training all my colleague are easily using this software for database. Plus this software is available at free of cost which makes it accessible for all.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want database which is free of cost and ease of use then go for it. A person not knowing sql also can work on this tool.

It's very easy to set up, especially when using a managed service from a cloud provider.

Migrating when there are version upgrades can be a bit of a pain.

Open source, ready-made ide as PgAdmin tool, lightweight and easy to use

Faced alot of database crashing and hang issues despite configuring with runnable solutions.

Problems based on my project. Easy to use, PGadmin tool makes it easier to create and modify tables also.

Opensource DB, Highly Secure, Stability, Scalability, Highly performance-oriented.

Data compression, Columns reordering, its default availability on all hosts.
