What do you like best about the product?
A safe, dependable, and robust database is PostgreSQL. It is an open-source RDBMS that performs well while handling a lot of data. Both Linux and Windows operating systems support installing PostgreSQL. SQL expertise is not necessary if we understand the tool adequately. Any database may employ SQL knowledge as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a newbie, PostgreSQL requires instruction. Through PgAdmin, a graphical application is used to manage it. Executing queries on an enormous database might sometimes be a bit sluggish. PostgreSQL installation ought to be simpler for users. Since few individuals utilize this technology, exchanging files or databases with others is challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can utilise PostgreSQL, an open-source RDBMS, for a variety of applications that will reduce the cost to the company. It is quick and straightforward to integrate with other applications and supports a variety of datastore capabilities, including JSON, etc.

It is open source and support all SQL Operations.

I think there are not much to dislike about.

PostgreSQL is helpful in getting aggregate functionality using different predefined functions like string_to_agg(), json aggregate

Not a such as of now i found yet. Something can be better for output and message in proper way to handle running queries.

PostgreSQL is used to solve a business problem by aggregating into a different way to send output to the requestor

What do you like best about the product?
PostgreSQL is one of the best relational databases. It supports multiple data types and has good query and data management support. The documentation is maintained and is the best place to learn everything about the database.
What do you dislike about the product?
PostgreSQL supports JSON datatype but the supporting methods are difficult to understand and work with. The documentation is present but there aren't enough examples that would help developers understand and use the methods.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostgreSQL is solving the problem of maintaining data in tabular or relational format. Few applications and web services that I have worked on require relational database this is being fulfilled by PostgreSQL.

What do you like best about the product?
Compared to MySQL, PostgreSQL is quicker and provides ACID characteristics. Storage procs can be created in PL/pgSQL, PL/Python, PL/Perl, and C/C++, and it has broader community support. It is a highly expandable database that handles large datasets, challenging queries, and read-write operations more quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only limited documentation is available in English. Additionally, the reading speed is really slow. PostgreSQL is one of the best open-source databases available besides this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used PostgreSQL to accommodate a large amount of data. Establishing the Datawarehouse to transform the daily loads into tables and update the dimensions, Facts, and other tables. It's used for data analysis and running the transformation on multiple tables and layers.

It is an open-source relational database that supports a heavy range of workloads. it follows the ACID properties and SQL queries. PostgreSQL has views, tables, store procedures etc. The database can connect with multiple interfaces and supports python, java, C++, PHP and perl.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a slow Comparatively low reading speed. Its documentation is only available in English. In some circumstances, the lack of columnar stores renders PostgreSQL less capable in analytics tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostgreSQL, help to store the data in the databases. It is highly programable and hence can load and transform the data in different stages using python. PostgresSQL procedural language PL/PgSQL is much more powerful than MySQL’s SQL and hence used to load the aggregated data into publishing layer tables.

Postgres database gives us more and more column fields that are very useful, like uuid and boolen, that other database doesn't provide.

It is very slow compare to other databases like Oracle, MySQL, etc.

I feel the interface could be better. It took little time to open pgadmin.

sometimes it is difficult to manage unstructured data.
the worst thing is consuming too many threads and processes if 20 queries are fired at a time then it it will consume 20 processes and 20 threads which might slow down the system some time

all my data problems are solved by Postgres we have too much-unstructured data which is managed by Postgres.
