Easy to learn and fast, can cater my requirements in relational database.

It is fast but can be optimized using other technology.

It is easy to learn and integrate with the different projects.
Great RDBMS if you are looking for open source databases.
What do you like best about the product?
I liked this database and was given higher priority over others because of its great functionality and features which provide much faster speed and stability to use this database. It's an open-source database that is lightweight and we can use this if we are working on any small to medium scale applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have so much to say but yes there are so many other options also available in the market to use I preferred it because of its cool functionality and stability. You should use it once in your career to have some great experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I worked on an application where we created the onboarding/offboarding automation for the organizational employees and we stored our source data in the MariaDB. I realized so many benefits such as ease, faster and having great functionality to access, manage and perform RDBMS operations.

Nothing negative to say for MariaDB. The company must be worked on the support part.

Maximum data of our company are stored in MariaDB database as its open-source so we don't have to pay for the license.

Difficult to move to SQL after adoption..

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Maria Db because it has everything that relational database should have. Don't use it if you plan to move to SQL later.

some of the version cant able to download and once one function is working in one version , its not working in latest version ex: in 10..6.7 Rownum() function is workig but not in latest one

What do you like best about the product?
There are hundreds of costs involved when starting a business. You can only pay for a few and use the rest for core business ops. MariaDB is an open-source database used by many big organizations. It is built by devs of MySQL and runs just like it. Setting it up (for example - on AWS, MariaDB is the default database engine), operating it, and finding developers to work on it are easy and cost-effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
MariaDB has almost everything plus extra features when compared with MySQL. I don't have anything I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MariaDB makes integration with software projects easy. Being open-source it is free and saves the additional business cost of purchasing and managing licenses.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
First, consider if you are looking for a relational database or NoSQL. If you are looking for a relational database, MariaDB is the best choice right now. It integrates with almost all frameworks and doesn't add business expense.

What do you like best about the product?
Opensource RDBMS, Highly scalable, highly available, security, supports multi platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Full-text search is slow, manual activity on backup and restore operations. Less user-friendly while working from Command Line Interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use an alternative of the MySql database mainly to store data in a Relational database and for reporting purposes for application development.
