The best Light Weight Database
What do you like best about the product?
Its very light and fast Database for Web technologies. easy to manage and standart sql queries.

Missing of Stored proceedures are some other missing features as compare to MSSqlServer
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its default compatibility with Php allows me easily use it for my web projects. as I have hand on experience its very easy to make data structure using MySQL.

Light Weight and easy to setup. most of the time came with WebHosting.

Easy to learn and use
What do you like best about the product?
MySQL has great documentation and developer community. You will never get stuck with your problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface in MySQL Workbench looks too old. And although the documentation is great, it feels overwhelming with a lot of information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analyzing and querying databases. It's very easy to learn and use.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy, easy to use, It's free open-source and has been around for years, therefore, gaining quality and big community to take care of, rectify and upgrade so support is instantly on the market, it's powerful and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
MySQL works fine in most small or medium applications, but when data size grows, the performance degrades. MySQL didn't support some standard features, and it has some extensions that don't belong to standard SQL. MySQL is an open source product but now it's acquired by Oracle who has total control of the software. MySQL is not designed to be scalable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting applications to databases. Applications varying from desktop applications to Online applications(like websites).

MySQL is an Open Source, high performance, feature-rich relational database management software, it's been used in various environments. I recommend it.

What do you like best about the product?
I love using MySQL. My project required me to use this database, and I was amazed by how easy to use it was. Great relational database management. It was also easy to learn new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about MySQL. For my particular project, it was very simple so I didn't utilize all of the capabilities within MySQL. Most of the basics in MySQL were more than enough for my project. Using this in the workbench is so easy and the interface and layout are easy to understand and differentiate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ever since using MySQL, I have had zero problems. MySQL is so easy to use and I have no doubt that other people will have ease of use. I think this is a great tool to use for databases, and it's easy to debug in Java using JDBC drivers.

MySQL is easy to use and understand. Plus integrating with Java using JDBC is seamless

1. As it is open source relational database management system so it is freely and globally available and supported by all the languages.
2. To manage your data there are many simple and almost all Sql functions and queries with that you can manage your database.
3. There is also a triggers which is very help to develop your projects means it will tell you what to do when some any DML queries fire.

1. I handle may be about to 3 to 4 projects in my company and it is working fine for me so i do not have any cons about MySql.

1. If you are working as a freelancer or running a company and do not want to pay money so with some efforts with the MySql database you can easily manage you projects data.

Easy-to-use Relational Database for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
Several distributions for development community including portable version.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is awesome but i think it can be better if it's the documentation was more detailed and vast helping beginners to start modeling with a visual tool for free. Reverse engeneering would be welcome too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to install and use. I use to build simple projects like task apps and complex ones like National shark attack Monitoring using coordinates in our coast.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been worked with MySQL since I started my College and I heard many times that MySQL wasn't the best solution for your company and blablabla but I can tell you after 10 years of experience working on with this DB I never had to change to anything else because of issues or performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outside PHPMyAdmin we don't good software to help us managing it.

Mysql includes the most complete set of advanced features, management tools and technical support to achieve the highest levels of MySQL scalability, security and uptime. It reduces risk, cost and complexity in the development, implementation and management of business-critical MySQL applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
For now I have nothing to complain about from MYSQL.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems. It allows me to continually monitor my databases and alerts on potential problems before they affect the system. It offers encryption, key generation, digital signatures and other encryption features to help us protect the company's confidential data.
MySQL is the best option to store data.

It's a good option to manage database. It's more secure and reliable database management system.

It's functionality tends to be heavily dependent on add-ons. So that point I was dislike in MySQL.

I store my site content and user data in MySQL database. So I was easy to manage site content through backend using MySQL.
