What do you like best about the product?
We are using MySQL for all our projects as it is the most suitable and easy to use database out there. MySQL is simple, easy to install, configure and easy to setup connection to. We are more over happy with the use of this product as it helps to meet all our needs. All our clients are happy since the database never crashes and is up all the time. We are also impressed with the speed and capability of MySQL to concurrently query and give results.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one major fail is that it is relational based, if they could introduce document based database then I am more happy to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are having a variety of business projects and we use MySQL for powering our back end, its easy and simple.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great Database Management System for all types of project, great tool for all environment. Simple and easy to configure. Database that never crashes and is up all the time !

What do you like best about the product?
1)It supports Workbench which is very easy to use , we need not write query in that thereby making it very easy to use.

I do not dislike anything in MySQL. . The tool is doing its best

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL is a great database from Oracle which is a low cost way to store and retrieve relational data and it's easy to install and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not as much support for mysql as compared to a traditional SQL database with a large community of support.

MySQL is allowing our organization to securely and reliably store relational information in a way our developers understand.

It's free and well documented and supported by the internet. It's adequate for most small to medium sized duties.

What is there to dislike? It's a database. It's not very good at making toast.

All sorts of things that require a database. What business problem doesn't require a database these days?
Product is Great but the Interface Could be Better
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using MySQL. It works relatively well and efficiently. The syntax is about what you'd expect from SQL and the return time and size of the databases are great. Also is easy to integrate with Tableau
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to getting a good interface though, I would recommend finding something other than the default MySQL Workbench. It's awkward to navigate and I believe there are better (free) options out there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm pulling sales and production data to analyze. I've been able to look at the skew of sales deals and prices for the organization to better optimize pricing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use DBeaver or another tool to actually access the data rather than MYSQL workbench. This is especially true if you want to use something other than MySQL later on.

Lack of ability to work with unstructured data and lack of ability to work with big data

It will be highly useful when modifying data base or to create new data base tables or to see what is currently stored in databse by writing querys.

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL is an open source database which provides security and data integrity. It have more features that increases the performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
MySQL is not suitable for very large data.

I uses MySQL for easily managing data in tables using queries
showing 301 - 310
