Powerful and robust database with excellent analytical performance
What do you like best about the product?
MySQL provides easily configurable database that can be integrated with any small, medium or heavy application. The database comes packed up with various tools in the community as well as the enterprise version and can be used by beginners as well pro developers.
The best features that make MySQL stand out of all the relational databases available in the market are:
1. Feature enriched Workbench that can be easily set up and configured to provide a UI based management of data, schema and triggers, functions and procedures.
2. The SQLServer allows easy configuration of database for small to medium sized companies with comparatively low experience. The User Interface provided by SQL Server allows easy configuration of back-up, restoration and changing of the security settings.
3. Reliability and fault tolerance along with great flexibility is an added advantage.
4. Easy to configure it with multiple programmings languages as well as integration with multiple tools such as Visual Studio makes it readily usable with any development environment.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes with extremely huge data, the server becomes unresponsive. It requires a bit more than expected memory to run on the servers.
Also, increased cost of high scalability of the system is an issue added to the support. Though, the documentation available is more than sufficient to tackle all the problems and challenges faced during setting up the system.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MySQL is the most apt relational database that can be configured with any small, medium or large sized application developed in any programming language. Our application has a microservice architecture and it has been readily integrated with MySQL database. Through the use of SQL Server, we have been able to set up the application quick;y with minimal support from their support.

This relational database is the most compatible, easy to use and configure relational database with multiple features that can be used for management and data analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL enables data to be stored and accessed across multiple storage engines. With MySQL we are capable of replicating data and partitioning tables for better performance and durability. MySQL users aren't required to learn new commands; they can access their data utilizing standard SQL commands.
What do you dislike about the product?
Accessing a large amount of data in the database takes time, managing database in form of multiple tables is time-consuming. For more data usage one should opt for NoSql.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing application data in the database and then fetching data from database to the frontend application is easy with Mysql. Linking with JDBC is good and makes it more robust and user-friendly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mysql is a good database management system for one who is a beginner but if you are looking for data storage and options, one should switch NoSql or use more advanced database software system.

What do you like best about the product?
is the ideal database manager to work with web projects because it is configured for that which makes connections very simple and fast
What do you dislike about the product?
it is very basic to perform queries between tables, it does not have assistants to help create the queries, but every line of code in sql must be written

the use for the design and development of web applications professional tato as paticules, it is very easy for these web works

It is very good, but I recommend that you know the sql language since it is very manual work in this manager

Easy to setup and free cost. MySQL is great to use and very robust in it's feature set.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does not have 100% parity with MS SQL server but does an excellent job at handling large amounts of data.

mysql great to work on web
What do you like best about the product?
is an excellent database manager that comes with the package of xamp or wam, it is ideal to work with web projects for its easy connectivity with this kind of work using php
What do you dislike about the product?
It is only for working with web projects since it is not feasible to use it in desktop applications, also it needs to improve the use of the queries since they have to be done manually writing the complete sentence because it does not have an assistant that does it

I currently use it for web applications in the company where I made projects and users can access the system from the internet from anywhere.

can be a great help for web jobs but they should be able to write sentences for queries

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL is almost a standard on the industry when it comes to IT Databases. Simple to use, with a very structured language which is the most famous in the market when it comes to databases.

It is great for small data sets. It is not recommended to deal with large and complex databases and/or big data.

It's simple and easy to use with very little messing around to get new DB's spun up.

Nothing really. It is simple and efficient.
