My Go-To DB for Projects
What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to spin up new dbs with MySQL and Docker. Since MySQL is well-supported by open source libraries in all languages, the choice is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes come to mind. The documentation and supporting libraries are great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data backend for all web services.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Run MySQL in Docker for easier administration (no need to install dependencies).

What do you like best about the product?
Being a Back End developer I use MySQL most of the time to keep my web projects databases in well organised relational tables. The best thing about MySQL is it's exceptional ability of relating tables with each other. As per my consideration MySQL is still getting used for most of the applications running in this real world.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now I don't feel any drawbacks using MySQL. In 90% of my live projects I have used it and still all my projects are running flawlessly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. My work and personal project's databases are totally dependent on MySQL RDB and each has been designed with extensive use of Relational abilities of MySQL.
2. The commands are easy to learn and implement in any development environment.
3. The integration of MySQL with any programming language is easy.
4. The community of this product is also wide and active so in case of any problem, solution is always available.

What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about MySQL is that it is very user-friendly. Anyone who is new to this domain can easily understand what kind of features MySQL provides and how it works. User interfaces are designed in a manner that everyone can easily get familiar with the product. It is faster and efficient. You can query the database and tables you create inside MySQL and get the result in a very small time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing bad to say about this product. It is easy to integrate to any of your applications using almost every computer language.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of having a paper based solution our company wanted me to develop a reservation system which can track all the reservations that are made by our customers. I used MySQL for the data storage part in this development.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a simple database management tool which is very easy to understand but still come with a lot of features and most importantly, which can improve the productivity of each department of your company I recommend MySQL because it is a total package.
SImple, Light and Great DataBase for Beginners to Learn SQL
What do you like best about the product?
As I have used while making my college project, I have find this software to be very useful and handy and this can be integrated into many languages as as RDBMS. Apart from this is open source , free ,platform independent , not to much complex setup and do not require too much resource utilization. Provides the best platform to learn SQL for any beginner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Error debugging is not that much easy as compared to Oracle. Not good if we use this with big projects as it leads to performance issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating and handling Database for small projects.

MySQL is free. Also, it's very popular so if you have a question it's easy to find an answer on google.

As for databases there is not much not to like. The syntax is a little different that other databases but doesn't take too long to learn.

Helps us to save and process data that is used in our marketing automation scripts.

We use it for any solution that doesn't require MS-SQL or Oracle. It is on our future roadmap to replace any other database as available.

Free LIcense. Excellent performance. Easy to integrate with any programming language or application. Binlog tool to track the data loss and history of data. Inbuilt JSON engine. Nothing less than MS SQL server.

There is nothing to dislike about My SQL server apart from the premium features which comes only with purchased version.

We are able to use MY SQL server as a trusted database for some of our applications.

We are a design agency and build a lot of websites for our customers. MySQL has been the de-facto database in our organization, ranging from simple websites to retail/wholesale websites that hold large databases.
Benefits:
1. No additional cost to us/developers and to our customers
2. Scales very well for most common use-cases
3. Available as default database in any web hosting provider
4. Most famous CMSes like WordPress, Drupal use MySQL. We do not have to convince our customers much on using this database.

What do you like best about the product?
SQL server is a DBMS software and can be installed either on windows or linux operating system. SQL server stores the data in the form of databases. It has free updates, cheaper in cost , free technical support ans easy usage, easy integration with programming languages
What do you dislike about the product?
I absolutely love it , no dislikes. Some times the sql server gets struck then we need to restart our pc and that occurs very rarely other than that i really find it user friendly

i work as a DBA for my company and my responsibilities include database health check and monitoring. Backups, recovery and restores, SQL clustering and always on availability, Data tuning, service packs, SQL profiler tool.
