Better than other databases out there
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to install and use. MySQL is the most popular database software out there and it allows for a easy-to-use user interface and ease of connection to other platforms such as Python.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should have better online connectivity.

Website management, website creativity, big data storage and management. Helps to process data a lot better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

Easiest To Use RDBMS
What do you like best about the product?
MySQL is easy to set up and use for anyone with any systems experience. It's even easier if you use Amazon AWS RDS. You can be up and using it to build (or run) your application in minutes. It can then be scaled to support large architectures. Support is available for the commercial version (such as Percona), and is generally high quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have the tuning features of some other databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rapid deployment. Wide acceptance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's great for getting started building applications, and does scale well, but consider other products (PostgreSQL) and other database types (NoSQL) when developing your architecture. Choose the right product.

What do you like best about the product?
This is an amazing option for every kind of requirements, no matter if you are in the Oil & Gas business or starting your own software development you can use MySQL. Also, you can choose between a free GPU license supported by a huge community or for an affordable price the support of one of the biggest in Silicon Valley and with probed experience on DataBase: Oracle Corporation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even if you're upset to start your project is better to invest some time in the beginning, setting up all the features. By default, this features could be insecure for your system. Also if you are starting you need to read and find out some information because could seem not intuitive, but don't worry, then you'll like this application. Is like everything, you at the beginning you should Study!

With MySQL, we improve the response time by generating easy solutions for internal web developments, as surveys, users request and schedules.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is an easy adopt options that allows you to generate great queries, data analysis, is stable, you can use different environments and update between them if necessary (Development, Test, Production)
MySQL :Decent relational Database Technology
What do you like best about the product?
First of all its Free, Also it open source and is a cross platform application. It allows us to do quick setup and is very easy to get it up and running even in a production environment. It has Relational Schema also it supports all major programming languages. It is High performing software which is easy to learn and has the ability to work professionally.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has some Scalability issues since the performance become worse when the data is larger. Although it supports PL/SQL but to use/create PL/SQL procedures in MySQL isn't as mature in terms as programming structures as Oracle PL/SQL. It should support Auto partitioning as well as Unified storage. Optimizing queries can be challenging. Having a tool to trace some queries could be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using MySQL across the whole organization. MySQL stores all company data from every data source. We built a robust content management system with mysql with a web front end, a MAMP stack.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I prefer to use MySQL in smaller well controlled data sets both insert/update and selecting data for my reports. If you need to provide a working prototype quickly, MySQL is the first database I grab. If you need to build a small and efficient web application, MySQL is the first choice.
Functional and Free
What do you like best about the product?
MySQL workbench is relatively intuitive and the ease of finding online documentation and answers to questions is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain advanced tasks may require a few terminal commands and things are much less intuitive when you start going there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a database for business process management app and a custom app developed with a Rapid Application Development software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I feel like MySQL is perhaps a bit easier to learn that Microsoft SQL, but that could be subjective. Most of the time the application you are using only gives you once choice though.
