Stable and widely used database platform
What do you like best about the product?
MySQL helps alot as a foundation of most open-source packages that I use to build my online website. Great stability and very widely used
What do you dislike about the product?
Most server that run mySQL restrict access from outside ip address. You have to whitelist the foreign ip and most of the time it is quite complicated when you want to establish stable connection with interface outside localhost of the database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
data management solution for most open-source package that I used to build my website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Fair to say it is the right choice to do the job, Large user base.

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL is like any SQL software in that it keeps the database neat and tidy. It also has several features that seem to help make queries and searches more complete. Like you get the bigger picture

I was not a big fan of the set up process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used it to organize the database of our PACS systems.

Keep in mind, it's worse without than the set up and configuration can be.
Very Good RDBMS
What do you like best about the product?
Fast and Scalable database, Ease of writing efficient and high performance SQL queries. It really supports very large table and database around 256 TB which is very good for future perspective. SMTP configuration support. Very very fast load utility.

UI can be made more features reach.There is no more issues I see with it.

SQL Server is free and anyone can download and use it. The application uses SQL (Structured Query Language) and is easy to use.
MySQL provides cross-platform support, wide range of interfaces for application programming and has many stored procedures like triggers and cursors that helps in managing the database.

What do you dislike about the product?
i think its better than anything else with a big company name
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In MySQL the Joins are used to query data from two or more tables. The query is made using relationship between certain columns existing in the table. There are four types of Joins in MySQL. Inner Join returns the rows if there is at least one match in both the tables. Left Join returns all the rows form the left table even if there is no match in the right table. Right Join returns all the rows from the right table even if no matches exist in left table. Full Join would return rows when there is at least one match in the tables

What do you like best about the product?
The reason why I like MySQL a lot is because of it's user friendly platform. It is also very cost effective. MySQL is organized very well and I think that it's a great program for all people to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is something that I dislike about MySQL. Everything that I've heard from it is great and is very likeable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business problems that I am solving and benefits that I have realized is that many people are able to understand it easier. A business problem is switching everybody over to MySQL because it is a big thing to do to switch everybody and the whole thing to this as we are not very new.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend others to use MySQL as it is very easy to use and many people are now switching over to it. The reason why I recommend this product is because many more people are switching over to it and it's fairly easy to use. New businesses or other new organizations would be ideal for this as it will be easy to transfer over from what they had before MySQL.

What do you like best about the product?
Price, we usually use Oracle Database but for some clientes the price is too expensive, so using mysql we have an starter option.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything. It a good product and it does what it promise.
