I have been using MySQL for years, customers on a budget prefer it to other licensed solutions.
What do you like best about the product?
It opensource, very robust, the DB engine is pluggable and using it with JDBC or ODBC connectors is very easy
What do you dislike about the product?
some products like the workbench are not updated or on dual license
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast and robust database that does not require any licensing and therefore reduces the overall cost of the project
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it before moving on to licensed database servers

Not much efficient with the large data set and a bit slow to handle billions of records

Great community support and helping others to solve there data-related issues
My review after using it for 6 months
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is easy to navigate. Commands are easy to remember as well as implement. I mostly used this software for practicing my SQL queries on the command-line client.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my case, I've faced some stability issues. Also, the product does not support a very large database size as efficiently. Performance scaling is also quite poor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was my first time learning SQL, and My SQL made that very easy for me. The app is good for beginners as well as professionals. Using the app has also increased my business performance.

MySQL is a great product and it'll surely help you in learning SQL as well as boosting your business.

It provides more options to write specific queries than the standard SQL language. One example is the LIMIT keyword.

For extensive databases, you should consider alternatives, as it will not work properly on millions of entries.

Despite the fact that MySQL is free software, you may get better support by purchasing a commercial licence from Oracle. MySQL's Access Privilege System and User Account Management are very secure. Host-based verification is feasible. multi-version transaction support, unrestricted row-level locking

MySQL starts degrading performance when data start increasing and row size cross the 1 million limits.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I can run queries on RDBMS smoothly, helping a lot in data analysis

Nothing that I can think of right now. Everything is smooth.

What do you like best about the product?
The UI which MySql provides is great , I have personally used it and I as a beginner find it too easy to use , MySql is used widely in IT industries to its neccesary to learn this software. I am a software developer and I use it daily .
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont think do that dislike anything about it , this software is great and I use it on daily basis , but 1 thing is that it does not support ROLE, COMMIT keywords
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making new connections for my mini projects , or using it in company which has lots of data , firing sql queries
